About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“This is my third Rukka harness I have bought and they have all been really good. I wish they did different colours but got the pink this time for my new girl puppy and my boy has the blue. I had to get a replacement after he got attacked. The other dog bite him but luckily it was through the harness and so did not pierce his skin just ripped the hardness instead which I was extremely thankful for. I find the harness gives support and have used the handle to be able to pick my dogs up easily when needed. I would by Rukka every time.”

“I would give 5 stars because the service is great, but o has to check the website longer than 3weeks to find out if the product I was looking for was available. And it wasn’t for over month. Until I got p hold of you guys by messenger and help me out. And the waiting was around 10 days. I just recommend to have availability of your products at all times. Beside that, the customer service experience amis great. This is the second jacket I buy for my puppy and I can’t never get the right size, but the staff always is willing to help me. I love the jacket. Thank you”

So pleased we could help, your dog looks great. Re availability, we do normally try to keep a full range in stock but I'm afraid the last year has seen so many logistics and supply chain issues with vendors that the odd delay Im afraid does happen. International freight is at an all time high cost wise, factories are producing less due to staffing issues and obviously we rely on all these working well to deliver. Our vendors on the whole have done a great job considering, trust us we'd love to have everything in stock all the time but todays commercial world does have some issues Im afraid.

Our sizing charts are 100% however, taking into consideration dogs behaviour during the movement and every dog's unique shape it can be difficult to get the right size the first time around. Hello Laura, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do offer free delivery for orders over £70.00, however, if this threshold is not reached then a shipping charge is generated. As a small business, we are unable to offer free shipping to anything less than this threshold. We do offer two shipping options which vary in cost. We offer standard shipping at £3.99 and a speedy shipping service at £4.99. With regards to returns, we offer a free shipping label for those who are exchanging a product. If, however, you are requesting a refund, we do not offer free shipping. One thing that we can assure you is that our sizing guides are 100% accurate. We only use sizing guides from reputable brands with Ruffwear being one of the brands. We do understand that not every dog is the same shape and size and therefore it can be a little difficult to get a perfect fit for them, especially while purchasing online. This is why we offer the free exchange process. There are other alternatives for this harness if it is not 100% suitable for your pooch, we are more than happy to assist you in finding the best fitting and the perfect harness for your fur baby.
