Paul and Sean Lovely helpful fitters My husband ill so they even put fitments back for vertical blinds Excellent worked non stop I will certainly recommend eyg. The price was reasonable and work first class

My expectations were either exceeded or met during the sales and delivery cycle with EYG. Their price was competitive compared to other quotes, everyone I spoke to was courteous and professional. Their quoted lead times and terms of business were accurate and the quality of the product (backdoor) is just impressive. The Installation team were again courteous, polite and effective. They cleaned up after themselves and presented me, courteously, with the final bill as I knew they would. I paid by bank transfer within the hour and view it as money well spent. Congratulations EYG a GREAT job! Thank you

This company is a shambles. We decided to have our fascia boards and guttering replaced.In early May we were given a quote and accepted it. We were told it might be six weeks before they could start. Despite several phone calls over the summer they didn't give us a date when they could start. 18 weeks later we were told they still couldn't do the job. We are now going to have to find another company having wasted all summer and the good weather. Having to have the job done in the Winter is not what we had planned. What a truly dreadful company. Don't touch them with a barge pole!!!!

Mr Coles, we fully apologise for what happened in this case as the job should have been scheduled in and completed during the summer, after you had approved our quote. We pride ourselves on the excellent customer service we have provided for more than 50 years, so this incident has been investigated with all who handled your order, and processes have been reviewed at every stage. Again, we wish to apologise for letting you down. As a business we process hundreds of orders each and every month without any issue, so this was extremely unfortunate, but we appreciate very frustrating for you. We extend our apologies once again. Very happy with EYG from start to finish! The fitters arrived nice and early, they worked well together and were friendly, professional and very tidy. They had our installation completed very quickly even though they had to take a bit more care removing our old door and surround as it was going on to someone else. We're so pleased with our new door and surround it looks very smart! We would definitely use EYG again.

The lads that came to fit the door and windows worked well where polite and cheerful explaining as they went on when asked the windows and door are very solid and look good from start to finish everyone has been polite and professional and very helpful

We had two windows fitted by Neil and Gaz. They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently (only 2 coffees each without stopping work although we offered more!), and finished by lunchtime. They left everything clean and tidy, and we are very pleased with the windows. Nice guys - hope we get them again when we have more work done by EYG in the autumn.

The windows are nice, the installers lovely (I gave them a large tip), but I am upset by the fact the scaffolding is still on my property 10 days after the job was completed. I have been a good client; patient, paid the invoice promptly. But communications regarding removal of the scaffolding are ignored (I have emailed customer services 4 times). I have a demanding job and volunteer my time with the ambulance service in the evening to respond to critically ill patients. I like to sit on my patio after a particularly sad incident and reflect. But I can't do that now. I can't leave the bedroom window open in this heat as the scaffolding will violate my home insurance as my house is insecure. I can't understand why a company would treat a good client as an irrelevance, their home is simply a free storage yard for their scaffolding with no deadline to remove it. They don't need access to my property to get the scaffolding, it overhangs my neighbour's property and a pathway to the canal used by many people. It is never checked to confirm it is still safe as per HSE guidelines. I just want my lovely home back. Feeling completely defeated.

Thank you for your comment and feedback. We are very sorry that there was an issue and a delay with the removal of scaffolding from outside your property following the installation of your new windows by our team. We use a specialist external company to provide scaffolding for us on installation jobs where it is required to meet health and safety requirements, both for our staff and customers. Scaffolding is usually removed promptly after installations are completed, and should have been so in this case, but unfortunately this delay was out of our control. We raised the issue with the company who provide this service for us immediately. We offer our full apologies for the inconvenience and disruption caused.

I URGE YOU TO AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY HAVE BEEN UTTERLY INCOMPETENT FROM START TO FINISH. WINDOW HANDLES BROKE AND AFTER FIVE VISITS THEY STILL CAN'T GET THE RIGHT LENGTH BOLTS. MADE A TEMPORARY BODGE JOB OF ONE HANDLE AND NEVER FOLLOWED UP. WE HAVE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND EVERYONE WE SPEAK TO BLAMES SOMEONE ELSE. COMPLETELY USELESS!!!

Michael and Matthew were a pleasure to have in our home. Nothing was too much trouble. They got on with the job and did a great job in cleaning up after thrmselves both in the house and outside. The windows and doors look fantastic. Thank you. See you when we have the rest of the windows installed.

Simple process from beginning to end. No pressure to purchase. Good communication from salesman, surveyor, and installers who were all polite and efficient. Job done without delays and a courtesy visit to check we were happy.

As former loyal customers of EYG we had no hesitation recently in contacting you to request a quote for replacement windows, doors, soffit and fascia. However, our recent experience has, disappointingly, fallen short of our expectations; we very much felt the 'hard-sell' and were left feeling rather ‘steam-rollered’ into making a decision, having been told that a price increase would be implemented from the following Monday and that we had until the Friday (less than 48hours) to decide whether we wished to accept the discounted quote of over £18,000! We do still wish to proceed based on our previous experiences and the quality of the work done. We have always received good customer service from EYG and any salesmen who have called have appeared unrushed with no pressure sales pitch. Unfortunately, this was not the case on this occasion; we felt that we were given very little opportunity for unrushed time and space to reflect on our choices and make a decision (I got the impression, possibly incorrectly, that we were taking too long). It was made clear to us that should we have any further questions then we would have the opportunity to raise these with the surveyor prior to going ahead with the work. Having now had the opportunity to reflect on the quote and the experience, we do have further questions we would like addressed. We should add that, in fairness to the salesman, we were aware that he had two further appointments that day and that he had already had to ask for his following appointment to be put back.
