“We have had all our windows renewed with EYG, the Two Men who arrived were two Brothers Paul and Carl, my Wife and myself consider ourselves very lucky to get two Cracking lads, they came bang on time and kicked off straight away, their work ethic was tremendous, their skill was beyond belief, we had them for two days they kept the worksite very clean and tidy and the end product was great, the communication with EYG was superb, the price was good, to say that we were delighted with the whole and every aspect of dealing with EYG was not good enough, the experience was really Birilliant. 👍👍”

“Firstly, we have a lovely new conservatory, however, it’s not 100% as we requested and hasn’t been without its challenges. When the salesman was sat in our living room, there was a little of the hard sell. ‘I have a voucher that I’m not supposed to give you’ etc. but we in the market anyway so it wasn’t an issue. Aside from wanting a fairly standard conservatory, there were a couple of bits that were only just outside of the norm that we requested. Namely, the left side door to be the dominant opening door as it worked better for the feng sui of the space it opened on to and for the guttering down pipe to be positioned so it drained in to the existing drain under the kitchen window as there was no other drainage options that were easy. Neither of these requests were communicated to the surveyor as we expected they would be, and I hear you all saying that we should of checked but when you’re paying in excess of £20,000, I just expected that my needs and wants only needed to be expressed the once. The build itself started really well and the groundworks were carried out by a great team who I would have back in a heartbeat. The construction of the conservatory itself was without incident and when invited to check the works before they left, it was noted that the downpipe was not where we wanted it and the left opening door was not the dominant one and the gang reported this on their paperwork and a visit from the supervisor was arranged. The electrical works were done without incident and it was time for the plasterers. They were certainly not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m ok with that. They managed to complete the plastering and flooring in a matter and hours and they were on their way. The supervisor of the works came out and the drainage issue discussed at length with EYG relocating the downpipe without quibble. Unfortunately, the door had to stay as it was. The plastering works were also discussed as they’d left an unfinished area around our existing bi-fold doors, the sill on top of the wall still had a large visible strip underneath that should have been covered by plasterboard/plaster and they’d left a mess, not only in the conservatory but also in the garden where they’d thrown waste up the neighbours wall. When EYG came out to rectify these issues, the poor quality of the plastering was highlighted along with the 13mm difference in the floor level from one side of the conservatory to the other, extra trim was placed on the underside of the sill and around the bi-fold door, a decorative corner that had fallen off was glued back on and someone cleared up after the plasterers. It was arranged that the plasterers would come back out to sand down the plaster. When I pointed out the poor finish around the plaster/new trim around the bi-folds, the plasterer gave me new tube of caulking and said ‘that’ll sort it out when you paint’ like he was doing me a big favour. It has to be said that I’ve never seen such a poor attitude to ones workmanship before and coupled with the barely adequate job they did I would absolutely not recommend the plasterers. Whilst the supervisor of the works was very good at coming out to see the issues and getting them sorted for us, there seems to be a case of a bit of extra trim will sort everything and that’s the sort of attention to detail that’s missing. I don’t want extra trim as a cover up, I want a proper job doing in the first place. I’m sure when it’s all decorated and has nice furniture in it, it will look amazing and if there’s still some exposed brickwork at the base after the carpet has been fitted, I’m told a bit of trim will soon sort it out! All in all, we have a nice conservatory but would I recommend EYG? Probably not in all honesty as I think there are superior companies out there who will better document and communicate your initial needs when signing on the dotted line and who will strive to make sure your finished conservatory is 100%, especially given the price tag.”

“This is the second time of using EYG, we received the same brilliant servise on both occasions. No pushy sales, very nice guy who was straightforward and informative. “Just had another three windows installed by EYG And again another professional job, I was a slightly concerned about any damage to my wall tiles in kitchen and bathroom bathroom, but no damage whatsoever praise indeed for the nice guys who installed the windows, I can’t praise this company highly enough very good quality windows at a very competitive price excellent service service from start to finish”

“Just had another three windows fitted by EYG can’t fault this company very good quality product and efficient quick installation I was a bit concerned about two of the windows regards damage to the wall tiles but just mentioned to the installation guys and no damage whatsoever anywhere very good tidy job I would definitely recommend this company for excellent all round service 😃😃”

“The two fitters were excellent. Four windows fitted but one of the units has a crack in the glass. The fitters acknowledged this and arranged to replace the unit. In removing one of the old windows a large piece of cement was dislodged from the brickwork leaving a gap which needs to be pointed. However we are confident that these faults will be rectified leaving an excellent job done.”

“The builders and the fitters arrived early and were very friendly and polite. The frames and windows are good quality, however one window had been measured incorrectly and the fitting of the two bay windows left a lot to be desired. For the price I paid I was expecting better. I had to get someone to inspect the fitting and a service technician came and spent another 2 days putting everything right. I was disappointed that I was not offered a refund or some form of compensation.”

“We have had some windows, doors and patio doors replaced by EYG (some of which required lintels). We are very pleased with the result. All work was completed on time and with professionalism. The building team and the installers explained their work as they progressed. Communication from the office was helpful and timely and a refund for unused items was given as promised.”
