Rolled up at 15.40 on Saturday looking to buy a new threshold seal for my EYG door. It's long out of warranty, had it replaced under warranty before but it never seemed to last long before failing so gave up till recent energy prices made it more important. Anyway checked online, saw they were open till 16:00, and rolled over with the original door seal in hand. Noticed the yard seemed to be deserted but at twenty minute before closing on a Saturday that's not a surprise. Went to the door, it wouldn't open. Locked. The lady inside told they were closed, I think that's what she told me anyway as I was lipreading through a closed door. I figured maybe the online info about opening hours had been wrong, it happens sometimes, but spotted the opening hours displayed on the window quite clearly saying Saturday and Sunday open till 4pm. I pointed at the hours written right there on the glass, she said something but I've no idea what as my lipreading isn't fantastic and evidently the soundproofing on those front doors is pretty good lol So the trip was a bit of a waste of time. Top marks for soundproofing on those double glazed doors but a big round zero for customer service.

Just had our wooden windows and French door replaced by EYG. Gary and Jordan were the installers and nothing was too much trouble for them, they are a credit to EYG. A very professional service and one I am happy to recommend.

We have just had our windows and doors replaced , our fitters Michael and Matthew from the Newark branch were a pleasure to have as fitters , they were very professional and efficient with the manor in which they worked together , they were both very respectful off our home by keeping it as clean and tidy as possible whilst the work was in progress and cleaning up before they left each afternoon.

I cancelled my order within the 14 days cooling off period because I was unhappy with the pressurising sales techniques and high prices. Despite asking for my refund on the 14/09/23, I still have not received it 6 weeks later.

Several years ago EYG fitted a number of windows in our old house, they did a first class job and the fitters were great, excellent workers, clean and tidy throughout. The only criticism we had related to the way their initial salesmen treated my wife - almost as if she were an nincompoop with no brain whatsoever! She was grossly offended and, when we wanted another batch of windows, we wanted EYG to provide them stressing that no Sales Rep would be admitted - so they sent an Area Manager who took measurements, gave an acceptable quote "without 'phoning his Manager for a Special Discount" and the work went ahead again in a most satisfactory manner. Unfortunately, we now need yet another wooden window replaced and rang EYG about 3 weeks ago giving dimensions and requesting a quote, not had any response so are hoping that they feel the job is too small to bother with. Please, EYG, get back to us ASAP, we can't close that window in case it falls apart. By the way, EYG is one of 3 firms who have fitted windows for us and are definitely the least messy, most accommodating and pleasant workers of them all. ,

Just had original patio doors replaced and extended by 1 mtr to allow more light in the living room, certainly allowing more light in and gives a much improved view looking out John G and his apprentice, here for over a week, kept me informed throughout, workplace kept clean and tidy as much as possible, very polite and considerate, pleasure to have them doing this work Actual patio doors fitted very quickly at the end as all the ground work completed to plan thus allowing the easy installation of the doors

The 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service was excellent from start to finish. Any problems were solved quickly with no quibble. Fitters were very polite, attentive and a credit to EYGs ethos. Would highly recommend.

i have just had a new Composite Front Door put on by two great fitters, Paul and Josh, what a pleasure it was to watch them and engage in conversation with them, EYG should be proud of them, i know that my wife and i were pleased that we had the good fortune to have these two excellent guys, thank you very much.

Danny and Jake from Newark have installed our new windows and front door. Incredibly hot week but they were cheerful, hard working, meticulous and so very tidy. The builders we had were great and did a great job. John g was a great builder for his apprentice Aiden to follow and learn from. However it has been a long road of miss communication, mistakes with sales and not knowing what was happening. So although not happy at all with time from sale to completion, the results are good.

About a year ago we had four new arched windows manufactured and fitted by EYG and the results were fantastic. From start to finish we were provided with a brilliant service and we continue to admire the skill and workmanship of all involved. Having had such a great first experience with EYG we obviously had no need to look elsewhere for our latest project, 2 new french door units, a window and a back door, plus a new lintel and brickwork. Even though we had a different team from our first project, everyone at EYG were superb and provided a thoroughly professional service throughout with yet again top 5 star results from the fitting team. Lewis and Mike "The Professionals", Dean "Mr Perfection" and last but now least "Spot On" Raz. What a great team. They and their work was extremely professional and they ensured we got a first class service with a first class result. A massive thank you to you all - our new window an doors look fantastic and we cannot stop admiring the workmanship and finish of all your hard work. Best Regards to you all Val and Steve Smith

Thanks to Deano for excellent customer service today. Mom had 7 windows replaced. Deano was friendly professional and efficient. Fitting was fuss free and he went above and beyond for my Moms requests.

Had new soffets and fascia's fitted a few years ago, installation crew were about to leave thinking job was finished and I pointed out that one end hadn't been done. Oops we forgot ... another 30 mins and job was done. First decent rain shower showed one of the gutters was not level. Booked a call out, waited 4 weeks, two lovely fitters arrived (father/daughter), shook his head saying "shoddy workmanship" and fixed the problem perfectly together with several ill-fitted gutter clips which were under huge strain. Then the nightmare began .... "cold calling" .... first actually asking if we wanted soffets and fascia's fitting ! ... 2 or 3 weeks later, same call again. We politely asked if we could be removed from their list but they just keep on calling. Literally, just now received yet another call. "Lucy" said she will leave a note for her boss in the morning. Not sure what is needed to get our telephone number removed from their list because asking politely definitely is NOT working.

Regarding the cold calling, you can request we remove your details on our database by emailing info@eyggroup.com. Unfortunately, when this is requested by branch staff or telesales staff directly, the message might not reach our head office IT team, who would do this. We had our bay window a few months ago and everything was fine. We were then told if we wanted anything else doing they would guarantee a price for six months, so we ordered two more windows to be replaced. The same two guys as before came and gave us a price and measured up . A couple of weeks later they phoned with a date for fitting them, but said the windows were going to cost another £500 above the 'guaranteed ' price! Very very disappointed and very very let down.

Got a living room a two bedroom windows to replace council windows I have had in for 23 years, told sales man needed better sound proofing because I live opposite a school. Not a problem he said our windows have great sound proofing, who are they kidding there worse than the old windows there like single glazed windows, had fitters out twice first looked at hinges on side window 10 minutes later he was gone second fitter came looked at windows took off cover strip and filled small part off sill . He said it could be the product they will ring me and left nothing has happened windows still bad,I’ve emailed them more than once no reply. I’ve had 2 different window companies trying to sell me windows I tell them no because off the trouble I’ve had , both sales men have looked at the windows and came in to the house they couldn’t believe how noisy it was and both said windows not made properly or not installed properly and to get in touch with trading standards that is what I’m going to do . Please think twice before buying windows from eyg.
