The two fitters were excellent. Four windows fitted but one of the units has a crack in the glass. The fitters acknowledged this and arranged to replace the unit. In removing one of the old windows a large piece of cement was dislodged from the brickwork leaving a gap which needs to be pointed. However we are confident that these faults will be rectified leaving an excellent job done.

A bit disappointed on some of the finishing which should have been pointed out when completed. Phoned office to point out the issues and someone came out to sort out the problem which will be done when the parts are delivered.

Had windows done last week , the 2 guys who came were really nice very respectful did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, will use EYG again, pleased with result. Thankyou

There was a hiccup where they subcontracted a lintel for a specific day ahead of the installation, sent us a confirmatory email, but forgot to book the subcontractor, leaving us in limbo until we rang them. Apart from that, we had to tell the subcontractor to use an elevated platform instead of a ladder due to Health and Safety. The company wasn’t happy, but they did send round the required scaffolding, although they left the workman to assemble it himself. After that additional delay, Russ did an excellent job installing the lintel and cleaned up well after himself. However we still have the scaffolding stacked in our garden. The EYG guys did an excellent job on the windows, were very polite, and worked through lunch and late to get the job finished. They also cleaned up well after themselves. The windows look exactly as hoped and expected, and one contains an emergency escape button so that you won’t be locked in, in an emergency. Unexpected but welcome nonetheless. All in all, and despite the hiccups, we are pleased with the work that EYG carried out. Now we just want the company to arrange collection of their scaffolding… and we made them promise not to make any cold calls for further work…

I had a complete window, door and conservatory installation with EYG. I chose them because of their professional approach and their competitive quote. The window and door installation was done by Paul & Carl, who were very pleasant and extremely hard-working. The conservatory installation caused a few problems. My original choice of design had to be changed due to a drain position which caused construction issues. This was fully explained to me and changes were made to my satisfaction, although with additional charges. My problems arose when the construction team arrived and not only was the base not level, but the radiator that had been in my old conservatory was in such a position as to interfere with the position of the internal wall. Had I been advised of this earlier, I could have taken steps to have the radiator repositioned prior to construction. So the internal wall had to be partially built and then all work stopped until I could arrange for a plumber (more added expense) The gap between the base and the conservatory was up to 4 inches in places which has had to be filled with concrete. The installation team were lovely and (sorry I don't have names as they did not introduce themselves & I didn't ask) During all this work, the teams cleared up after themselves each day and left the site tidy. There is still a very large piece of wood in my back garden which I am unable to move though! A great job overall, but a bit more communication would have been useful at times to save me having to phone for answers as to what was happening next.

The men who fitted the door were friendly, courteous, cheerful and efficient and did an excellent job, which helped to restore my faith in EYG, after the job was postponed twice and took over twelve weeks, when I had been told it would be eight weeks. I got a message on my answerphone the day before the first cancellation. Unfortunately it didn’t make sense and I had to make two phone calls before I knew it was cancelled. The next time it was cancelled was on the day of the installation and again I had to make two phone calls before I learnt of the cancellation and to arrange another date. At no time did anyone ring me to let me know. However, as I stated earlier, the installers were brilliant. I didn’t stay to watch them, but my neighbour watched them and was impressed by their efficiency and the care taken.

We are NOW happy with our front door but the installation was not without its problems. The two lads were very good, did a neat job but, come time to show us how everything worked...the door wouldn't lock! They spent 45 minutes trying various adjustments to no avail and it took a separate visit from a service engineer to sort it. COULD DO BETTER EYG!

Several years ago EYG fitted a number of windows in our old house, they did a first class job and the fitters were great, excellent workers, clean and tidy throughout. The only criticism we had related to the way their initial salesmen treated my wife - almost as if she were an nincompoop with no brain whatsoever! She was grossly offended and, when we wanted another batch of windows, we wanted EYG to provide them stressing that no Sales Rep would be admitted - so they sent an Area Manager who took measurements, gave an acceptable quote "without 'phoning his Manager for a Special Discount" and the work went ahead again in a most satisfactory manner. Unfortunately, we now need yet another wooden window replaced and rang EYG about 3 weeks ago giving dimensions and requesting a quote, not had any response so are hoping that they feel the job is too small to bother with. Please, EYG, get back to us ASAP, we can't close that window in case it falls apart. By the way, EYG is one of 3 firms who have fitted windows for us and are definitely the least messy, most accommodating and pleasant workers of them all. ,

The builders we had were great and did a great job. John g was a great builder for his apprentice Aiden to follow and learn from. However it has been a long road of miss communication, mistakes with sales and not knowing what was happening. So although not happy at all with time from sale to completion, the results are good.

We had all our windows and doors fitted by EYG. We had two teams of fitters. The four chaps were fantastic!! Excellent communication, professional behaviour, very clean and tidy. Micheal and Richard, along with Nick and his brother made the whole experience so much easier than we anticipated. The only thing that lets EYG down is there communication prior to the installation. A quick courtesy call to confirm dates and details of what to expect would go a long way to improving the overall service.

I have had one window replaced. All the visits and plans went according to plan and I have no complaints with the end result. Four stars because a bit expensive for one window.

Really excellent product and the builder and fitters were very skilled and respectful of our property, the contact from the office left a lot to be desired which made the experience quite stressful at times, also the salesman didn't make it clear that the current building regulations meant that we would need steels fitting above every opening, this put quite a big charge on top of our quote which we had already agreed, it felt a bit manipulative, overall we are very happy with the installation and we feel the windows and doors are excellent value for money

Fitters were very good, friendly and efficient. Would have been much quicker if they hadn’t been given an incorrect piece but it was replaced and job done in good time everything considered.
