“The team were over an hour late arriving here because of scheduling problems at your end, meaning I was only just able to make a hospital appointment after that, in time. Ian and Andy did a very neat job fixing the bath lift and cleared up well afterwards. They also gave me a very clear explanation of how to use it, safety aspects and charging etc. I’m very pleased with it though haven’t tried it yet. Order number 20SWQ05610”

“The bath is incredible and makes it safe for both me and my wife to get in and out. Martin and H (Order Number 10SWQ05620) were great engineers fitting the aqualift and then showing us how to use the lift. Thanks for everything Aqualift.”

“Lovely experience. Martin and Stuart talked us through each part of the job they were doing. Extra helpful. Cleaned up afterwoods took us through operation details. Even gave demonstration. “The band you sit on goes mouldy very quickly if you are sharing the bath with other people, it has to be 100 per cent dry before it is put back into the machine. A replacement band costs a fortune.This is something that should be taken into consideration. It is impossible to get the mould off. Another issue is that we were not informed that we need to charge the battery.”

We are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your new bath lift. Upon installation, our engineers will hand over care instructions in order to maintain the bathlift and band, which does advise on how to thoroughly clean the bath lift to prolong the life of your product. As our bath lifts are not hardwired into the wall, the rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 lifts in between charging, but we do recommend weekly charging to avoid the battery dying at an inconvenient time for you. A charging wire is also provided during installation. We apologise again that you didn't enjoy your experience with us this time around but if there is anything further we can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. “My husband & I are delighted with ours. Both of us are elderly but still able to put our legs over to get in bath but could not stand up unaided. Now we just sit on the seat and the bath lift takes us down and then up when bathed!”

“Please be aware that this is not the solution to successful bathing that you think it is! My mum had her AquaLift BathLift fitted in February 2023 and 19 months later is experiencing mechanical faults with the device. The chair lowers her into the bath but fails to lift her up, making a terrible grinding noise and then just stops. Leaving her stranded, not knowing how she will manage to get out of the bath. The visiting engineer advised it was one of the batteries and she had to pay £70.00 for a replacement. Less than 2 months later the same thing has happened again. She alternates the batteries every other week, having charged them for 24 hours or longer before using. So clearly not a battery issue! The customer services representative showed no empathy or compassion to my mum’s ordeal. So very disappointed that this company that claims to give their customers independent bathing have not delivered. Please note that the AquaLift may come with a 4 year warranty but this does not cover the batteries! All in all this has been a terrifying & upsetting experience for a 85 year old lady, who is financially out of pocket, with still no adequate bathing solution.”

“Excellent demonstration by salesman. Installed within a week of ordering. The process took under an hour, the bathroom was left clean and tidy and the I had a very good demonstration of the way to use the lift and how to charge the battery.”

“Following a demonstration of the bath lift, the unit was installed within 4 working days. The fitters arrived on time and completed the job in just over an hour. No fuss mess cleaned up, and operation of the lift was explained and demonstrated to be working. Advice given about initial battery charging, and unit left on charge. Altogether a smooth installation. Thank you.”
