This company is a pain. You ask for a brochure they decide your bath isn’t suitable. Then they keep on ringing you and it’s impossible to shut them up!

After buying and waiting weeks for my bath aid when they came to fit I was told they couldn't because I may slip and hit my head!!!! No offer of solution. Why wasn't I told this when I bought it?? Now I still can't bathe. Please don't offer a service you can't deliver

The band you sit on goes mouldy very quickly if you are sharing the bath with other people, it has to be 100 per cent dry before it is put back into the machine. A replacement band costs a fortune.This is something that should be taken into consideration. It is impossible to get the mould off. Another issue is that we were not informed that we need to charge the battery.

Upon installation, our engineers will hand over care instructions in order to maintain the bathlift and band, which does advise on how to thoroughly clean the bath lift to prolong the life of your product. As our bath lifts are not hardwired into the wall, the rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 lifts in between charging, but we do recommend weekly charging to avoid the battery dying at an inconvenient time for you. A charging wire is also provided during installation. We apologise again that you didn't enjoy your experience with us this time around but if there is anything further we can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Didn’t show for first appointment over an hour late and still no show

product stop working wanted me to buy tthe next gen modle instead of fixing the one i have terrible after care

Please be aware that this is not the solution to successful bathing that you think it is! My mum had her AquaLift BathLift fitted in February 2023 and 19 months later is experiencing mechanical faults with the device. The chair lowers her into the bath but fails to lift her up, making a terrible grinding noise and then just stops. Leaving her stranded, not knowing how she will manage to get out of the bath. The visiting engineer advised it was one of the batteries and she had to pay £70.00 for a replacement. Less than 2 months later the same thing has happened again. She alternates the batteries every other week, having charged them for 24 hours or longer before using. So clearly not a battery issue! The customer services representative showed no empathy or compassion to my mum’s ordeal. So very disappointed that this company that claims to give their customers independent bathing have not delivered. Please note that the AquaLift may come with a 4 year warranty but this does not cover the batteries! All in all this has been a terrifying & upsetting experience for a 85 year old lady, who is financially out of pocket, with still no adequate bathing solution.

Exceptionaly agressive sales person who would not leave when requested to leave and just sat in a chair not speaking. As this lift was required I just wanted a price but this saes person insisted to demonstrate, I then agreed as my wife is very ill. The fitters came and demanded full payment prior to fitting. This was the last straw from a very agressive outfit I declined to pay and requested that they left. I then phoned their sales office and requested that they repay the £460 deposit , after much dicussion and phone calls they agreed to repay after 5-7 days. Solicitors are now to be engaged

It can be seen that our customer service team had multiple conversations with you since placing the order. Due to your wife being the person the lift was intended for our salesman wanted to ensure all of the correct information was obtained, we are sorry if you felt excluded from this conversation, we have since spoken and confirmed that you are in need of the lift. When you spoke to our customer service manager you agreed to the date that was given and just wanted to provide feedback to which we value. Our terms and conditions are clear that the payment would need to be made on the given installation date, however, we would always make sure an installation is suitable before taking the final payment. We would be unable to install a product without obtaining the balance. We apologise that you remain unhappy with the service received and will ensure your refund is processed as soon as possible. This was the worst of business experiences. I called and asked for help because my Aqualift was not working. I was asked to pay R850 for a service call out which I did immediately. Nearly 2 weeks later after many calls on my part I was given a date. When the 2 technicians arrived they simply changed the battery, a further R1000. I asked if they were going to service the appliance. They said there was nothing to service. I now ask myself why your Company did not suggest to me that I buy a new battery and so save myself R850 and the frustration of dealing with 'logistics' because your .technician was not in the area. Why was I not told in the beginning when asked for R850 that I might have a long wait? I would add that when I enquired about an installation I had a response within 24 hrs. As a pensioner of 91 years I do not need experiences like this financially or otherwise. J.Waddilove

I am disabled and cannot get in or out of the bath without my bath lift. I got the company to uninstall the bath lift from the old bath which we had to replace, and I cannot get any answer as to when they will be back to re install it after receiving promises of action. I am a very disappointed customer.

This company tells lie's from start to finish I ordered a bath lift and paid upfront and was informed that if it was not suitable I would receive an instant refund, I have just been told a refund will take up to 14 day's. It took me 30 seconds to pay them, I see no reason they can't do the same.

On first use after installation the belt folded over on itself and became even more creased in the second time I used the lift. I telephoned your help line and was told to lower the belt from the unit which I did and unfolded the double crease in the belt by hand and returned it to the wall base and am keeping my fingers cross that this fault does not happen again when I try again tonight. Tried to book a demonstration - failed The website says "One of our trained advisors can bring a demonstration unit to your home so you can trial the AquaLift in your living room." I tried to book a demonstration to see how easy it was to use for my disabled daughter. They wouldn't book the demo without knowing what bath we had - as we are currently designing a disabled bathroom, the type of bath will be dependant on whether a belt lift will work. Understanding that we might design the bathroom around the lift was beyond them. This is particularly mad the as the website clearly states the demo allows you to trial the lift in the living room! Such a shame.

Terrible after service. Had a 2nd unit fitted for my mother and this has failed again after 16 month of bathing twice weekly. Been told out of warranty. Been trying to get new battery sent. Phone call after phone call... to be constantly told lies that its been sent. 3 weeks on still nothing. Not happy at all with this companys poor service.

Dear Ray, We are sorry you have decided to leave us a negative review. Unfortunately, when your mother purchased her bath lift, she only signed for 1-year warranty. This company has been terrible to deal with. They were very quick to make initial contact, take money and fit a bath lift. My 77 year old mother used this lift once and she noticed her tiles had cracked. She was promised from the very start the walls were suitable and the tiles wouldn't be damaged. After emailing and numerous phone calls an engineer came out who confirmed the lift should never have been fitted in the first place due to the frame work of the property (which we mentioned in the initial meeting on numerous times but was assured all would be fine). 2 weeks after the engineers visit, the lift was taken off the wall. It was also requested that her bathroom was "put right" of the damage done. Nearly another 2 weeks has passed, no sign of her bathroom being put right and more importantly still no refund received. After sales of this company is terrible. Very quick to take your money. Not so quick In refunding or putting their mistakes right.
