On paper these are really good boots. However on arrival the boots build quality were very poor. PU overspill under the insoles leaves a large step that is uncomfortable to walk on. Noticed this on multiple pairs. On the left boot I received the boot eyelets were sewn on lopsided so could not lace the boots comfortably. I would not recommend these boots. Passed on feedback to lowa UK and got a refund but not offered a replacement. I also passed on feedback and pictures to Lowa EU but got no response. All very disappointing.

Bought a pair of boots same size as a previous model ive been wearing. After finding out that they are actually smaller (indoors), I've decided to return them, only to receive a message that they wont accept them back.

My 3rd pair over 10 years Climbed mountains Inc Kilimanjaro Training General Jeans wear Great 1st and 2nd pair The 3rd pair do not feel comfortable do not fit as 1st and 2nd pair Cost 50% more Very disappointed Not comfortable Cause pins and needles Same size ordered Just not same fit

Hi Sam, Thanks for getting in touch about this. I've just had a look at what happened here, and it looks like the insoles were returned to us by Royal Mail. Apologies, the speed of the return should have flagged something wasn't quite right here, but it looks like they were processed for a refund on the assumption the insoles were no longer wanted. Purchased this boots within 2 days insoles backings parted contacted Lowa sales which while I was walking coast path on Devon Items were needed posted a replacement pair but after 3 weeks walking left boot gore - tex fabric started splitting next to toe joints refunded me in full poor quality made boots not recommended

Sorry but disappointed in these replacements insoles for my Elba walking shoes. Definitely need more cushioning. I have had great service from my Lowa walking shoes and would definitely buy again.

I CAN NOT FAULT ORDERING, DELIVERY, RETURNS & SPEED OF REFUND - WOULD GIVE 5 STARS FOR AN EXCELLENT SERVICE & WOULD ORDER FROM THE SITE AGAIN. HOWEVER, THE ORDERED LOWA RENEGADE 'WIDE FIT' BOOTS - NOT SO MUCH. I CANNOT RECOMMEND AS A 'WIDE' FIT BOOT AS ADVERTISED ON WEBSITE. THE FOOTBED WIDTH IN THE RENEGADE FELT NARROWER THAN MY 'REGULAR' WIDTH FIT OLD MEINDL BOOTS. I SHOULD HAVE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS CITING THIS PROBLEM. THEREFORE ONE STAR. THE QUALITY OF THE RENEGADE BOOTS WAS EXCELLENT, JUST NOT THE FIT.

I purchased a pair of Innox Evo GTX mens hiking shoes. Arrived with crease across toe material left hand side and faulty lining at toe region. Returned for refund. Second pair ordered at same time. This time again a crease across left hand toe side (different to previous) and gaping around lace holes on both shoes - the material did not lay flat. Returned for refund. Very disappointing quality control. Very disappointing in view of other reviews. I will not try again. The returns were easy. That was the good part.

I don't know what's happening, I knew about Lowa as a perfect shoesmakers but my expirience was not good at all. One shoe was excellent another one was poor. Something's wrong with the sole so it hurts and different shape even when you try it. Fortunately that I haven't gone outside first. Sent back

Love my boots but unfortunately they are a little small so need to send them back. Unfortunately your system does not allow me to simply get an exchange pair and I have to get a refund and then source my next pair from another outlet after you have refunded me for my purchase at the Gamefair 2023. I am incredibly busy with work at the moment so haven’t been able to do this. If I had know this was the case I wouldn’t have purchased at the Gamefair as I could not try on the exact pair I wished they had none available to try so had to try on another type of boot but unfortunately the size didn’t match. I love my Lowa hunter boots and had hoped my new ranger boots would be perfect for lighter use. Now considering very seriously not to bother at all with them because you cannot make a simple exchange from a 9 to a 9 1/2 from stock. Disappointed to say the least!!!

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your review, but sorry to hear about the confusion here. We do understand it can be tricky to get the size right first time, and it's why we include a free returns label with a pair of boots, so you can easily return them to us for a refund, if the size or fit isn't quite right. Normally the refund is processed within 24hrs of the boots arriving back with us. It's certainly not the case of needing to go and purchase a pair of boots from another outlet though, so apologies for the misunderstanding there - it should simply just be a case of placing a new order through the website, for the correct size. DPD delivery company - Terrible customer service absolute nightmare to get hold of DPD, missing parcel, DPD did not leave in my secure location. It took five days to make contact with them. When I finally got through to a human being, they told me to contact the company I make my purchased from. Lowa - I purchased the boots from, equally disappointing customer service. They do not have a replacement boot, they suggested alternatives which are more expensive. They are still looking into DPD missing parcel, they claim that they cannot access records of my safe place for delivery. DPD STATE YES THEY CAN. DPD confirms the driver did not leave in MY safe location. I feel as though I’m just going round in circles with the both of them. Extremely disappointed. I have no Boots. I was due to go away on a hiking weekend so this was totally spoilt.. NO BOOTS NO HIKING, TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. This is my second pair of lowa boots the first pair leaked after one 2 day hiking trip. I should’ve followed my instincts and not have given them a second chance. Lesson learnt. I will now be seeking a refund through my credit card company. This company has caused me nothing but hassle. Please be warned.

Tried boots on at home - perfect, comfortable and light. Walked around our village in East Lothian -still perfect. Took them with me over to Ardnamurchan, where I'm doing a year long Photographic book project, on commission, Headed out on my second day over there, to photograph an old abandoned village, which lies approx one km from the road, along a farm track and then through grass and heather. which was a bit wet. Amazed to find on my return to my accommodation that my feet, socks and the inside of the boots were soaked. I immediately phoned LOWA to complain and returned the boots yesterday, when I got back from Ardnamurchan. To say I'm not impressed is an under statement.

Because a heavy booklet is attached to shoe, it was difficult to wear around the house to check if they will be totally comfortable. The tag ripped off so I couldn’t return them and the shoes caused achilles problems so I am now out of pocket with useless shoes I can’t return to store.

I bought my first pair of LOWA hiking boots in early 2017. They fit me perfectly and I loved them so much that when the stitching gave way (after 5 years) and that boot started to take in water, I invested in another pair in February 2022. I am sorry to report that during the last three walks I have had one wet right foot, however, the stitching of the boot remains intact. Fortunately, I had held onto my old boots so I hunted around until I found a cobbler who managed to mend the stitching. Last week I walked 10 very wet muddy miles in my old boots and my feet stayed perfectly dry. So I have mixed feelings now about LOWA hiking boots. I previously recommended them to everyone who was considering which brand to buy but I am now investigating other brands to replace my leeky boots! :(. In the meantime I am wearing my old LOWA boots.

Not very good when it comes to faults in their boots don't want to return or swap so only buy if you want a very expensive pair of boots for decoration and not to wear

I ordered wide fitting but these boots are not wide fitting. I have a number of pairs of running shoes and walking boots which are wide fit and these wide fit weee not. We’ll made boot though, just not the right size for my feet.

I have had these boots only a couple of months and used lightly yet they are leaking through the seams despite my using most of a tin of Lowa spray and the Lowa cream treatment. They have started leaking while walking in wet grass (not during rainfall) which is highly disappointing for what I expected to be quality boots at this price
