“Comfortable boots and good for narrow feet. PLease make them in differnt colours or just brown as they look lovely new but one muddy walk and they are never the same!”

“Lowa do look after their customers. My shoes had a fault that became apparent after wearing outside and Lowa provided a full refund after being unable to resolve the issue. I've only knocked off a star as it would have been better not to have shipped faulty shoes in the first place. However, 5 out 5 for service.”

“Good quality product like then but the disappointment was following you’re advice saying use your normal shoe size. So this has left me with boots I can not use at lease up a half size would be better advice”

“Great quality and price. Early days on comfort, and have not been tested in wet conditions yet. Look good and quickly received. I am a uk 5.5 size and size 39.5 fits well.”

“Others reviewers are right. These are extremely narrow. I bought the 'wide' and half a size bigger than my usual, but they still pinch quite badly. Other than that, these are beautifully made shoes, made with high quality materials and great design. As they're leather punters I'm looking into getting them stretched!”

“Great boots for long hikes on all terrain - comfortable from day 1. Only criticisms that I have are 1) even the wide fittings are too narrow. I have to buy several sizes bigger to get the width. 2) they will eventually fail on the stitching of the panels and then they leak. I rarely find the soles wear out.”

“LOWA Renegade Evo GTX Mid W (Wide) Great boot, well made and light, my only criticism is I am a size 9 wide foot so i ordered size 10 wide foot but thy are still slightly narrow which can be seen when i measure them against my old Meindl Merans”

“Ordered Lowa Renegade Evos to replace an 18 month old pair of Renegades which had split (but were so comfortable that I was prepared to risk it again). Ordered same size as before but the new "closer fit" meant they were too small. Ordered 2 more pairs, one bigger, one wider, but neither felt right so all were returned. Free returns, refunds received quickly so still quite happy with the company.”

“I have been walking in Renegades for many years and many miles and I am on my fourth pair. They are the perfect fit for me and several of my aquaintances who bought them on my recommendation. I managed to buy one of the last pair of these much loved boots. Sadly the new version of the Renegades is more 'tailored' to the foot. Why fix something that isn't broken? I doubt that they fit as well and are as comfortable as ye olde Renegades were.”

“Really good boots! Super comfortable right out of the box and very sturdy/supportive. Sizing was spot on. Excellent grip and waterproof. I've not worn them for years yet (only weeks) but I am looking forward to! I've put 4 stars as I can't comment on the longevity but hope it lives up to my expectations.”

“I measured my foot following instructions and ordered what I thought was the correct size. When they arrived and I tried them on they were much too big. I will reorder as they looked great, felt comfortable despite the large size. I think they are sized quite big”

“Shoes are well made, though quite hard underfoot. Customer service team are excellent - I had to contact them due to inconsistent sizing. I now own 3 pairs of Lowa shoes/boots & they are all different sizes, I am usually a standard 6/39.”
