“No problem with service or delivery. However the walking trainers were marketed as lightweight which they most certainly were not. Had to be returned.”

“I bought the lowa Taurus Pro Gtx Mid hiking boots in late May/June this year.Very comfortable straight from the box. I am a keen walker and I feel slightly let down by the fact that the fabric on the RH upper if fraying already where the seam joins the buckskin it looks like it’s getting worse and I wonder now if the waterproofing is now compromised Order no LW34057 Look forward to your comments”

“The service Lowa provides is next to none however their boots are all very small, they have a low volume and are not suited to people with wide feet or high arches.”

“I have had Lowa boots previously that I could not fault - perfect fit, well made, no hot-spots, utter comfort and durability. So I wanted to buy some more (last pair lasted 18 years!) I'm certain the boots are still very good quality. However, fit is quite a bit narrower these days, even for standard boots a full size too big for me (I'm an 8). It was suggested I buy a 9.5 in their widest fit boot; whilst this may have addressed the width issue, it meanst the boot is 1.5 sizes too big in length, meaning I would have had to trade one issue for another, which is pointless. BTW - Lowa themselves admit to having made the fit "closer" these days. Why? All I'm saying is, buy Lowa with confidence, but if you have a wider fit requirement, then perhaps (?) Lowa may not offer the accurate fit options you need these days. Lowa: please consider introducing a proper, wider fit option - EE or more. Thanks.”

“I bought these because I have a pair of very comfortable Lowa walking boots.The fit is just as good as the boots but I find the sole rather hard on these shoes”

“Very happy with the shoes. My problem was with DPD. I was sent a scam re my delivery and this caused me concern. I realise that this was send and coincidentally I had placed my order but it did take a phone call to you to confirm that the item wasn’t about to be returned to you.”

“I had high hopes for these boots after watching reviews. Tried them out last week in the Scottish Highlands. They have poor traction on light snow and struggle with getting a grip on wet surfaces. I don't know if this is a manufacturing fault or standard design flaw. I have worn Solomans, Meindl and Hoka's over tough trails without this problem. I don't feel comfortable wearing these boots as they feel unsafe.”

“I had to return the boots because although they were labeled women’s size 6, they were much too big and possibly incorrectly labeled. I usually buy a 6 in Lowa so was very surprised that they felt like a much larger boot”

“Lowa was always my 'go to' supplier for wide hiking boots for years prior to the 'EVO' development. Sadly the wide Renegade Evo GTX Mid W (Wide) boots are now far too narrow and tight for my feet, why oh why change something that didn't need fixing. I now unfortunatley have to look else where for my hiking boots - unless Lowa bring back the orginal pre Evo boot. The return process was easy and the refund seamless.”

“The boots arrived in a non-original white box. They look refurbished, not new. I honestly didn't expect this from the store LOWA, maybe if i buying from eBay. They are comfortable , but the description does not say that they are used or do not have the original packaging.”

“This is my second pair of Lowa boots. I was not expecting to experience painful achilles tendon problems, on my left leg. This is quite severe, and am not able to walk properly in any footwear. Taurus do seem somewhat narrow, but suspect the problem to be heel support related.”

“The shoes I ordered were undoubtedly of great quality, however the wide fit was not particularly wide, so I had to return them - which was very easy to do.”

“Really comfortable boots but they wear out too quickly. Don’t last me a full year and lose their waterproofness within months. However Lowa have been prepared to issue me with a replacement pair with no trouble”

“I like them but they seem slightly tighter than the ones I bought off you a few years ago (same size). Also, the previous version had a better tongue, with material connecting it at the sides. Nice, but I preferred my old pair.”

“They fit a bit small sadly but I’d worn them too much to return them and a size up would be too big. As a result, after a couple of hours in them you really feel it against the end of your toes. Sad as they’re great boots otherwise and usually do the job”
