“Unfortunately they where too narrow and long so I had to send them back. But I bought other Lowa shoes locally a half size smaller and they are great”

“I just purchased my second pair of LOWA walking shoes. The first pair was so comfortable that I wore it almost every day and finally had to get a replacement pair. My second pair is as comfortable and I love the fact that there is Gore-Tex lining to keep my feet dry.”

“My favourite boot and shoe brand! This is my third pair of walking boots (the others have lasted me 1000+ miles each!), and I have a pair of walking shoes and a pair of combat boots also. They're so comfortable, and never rub or hurt my feet, even when I am stood up all day. Love the colouring also!”

“Been a user of meindl for leather boots for 20+ years; and in fairness they are robust and suitable UK conditions well. However after 3 knee operations due to meniscus tears; I was looking for something with a bit more sole cushioning, but high and wide in fit. Recommended these by one of my long suffering backpacking/mountaineering buddies, so far, so good! Quick wild camping trip on high peak this weekend with a heavyish pack with my daughter; comfortable out of the box; noticeably a bit more room in the toe box than the meindl's and not too heavy. I like the lacing lock on foot independent from ankle too. The rand is the only bit that looks like it could be improved, with a clear gap on the joint; which I worry could peel over time”

“Positives. Light, comfortable, supportive, decent grip. Negatives. A bit slidey on wet rocks. For the right terrain, a good boot. I wanted something lighter than my heavy Lowa Tibet (which are amazing boots) and these work well.”

“unfortunately the boots I ordered were too narrow in the forefoot. I tried them on over several days and tried different lacing techniques but they just didn't fit (however much i wanted them, so I returned them. Why the 5 stars? I've boxed them up and used the provided sticky label. dropped off at the post office and job done!”

“It's a coincidence I've received this review this afternoon. I have just sent Lowa an email informing them that I believe the left shoe has been manufactured incorrectly and it's making my toes numb. Generally Lowa products are great and this purchase is my 3rd set. I'll see what happens with their after market customer service.”

“Wonderful service - the pair I ordered were too big and James took the time to clearly explain the differences between different styles and the ways in which they had different fits. He advised how to return them and reorder a more suitable style. Beautiful and lightweight boots, even if they weren't the right size this time.”

“Excellent customer service that exceeded my expectations. I made an enquiry about my order and Isaac G from the customer team went above and beyond. As for the Ranger Boots, this weekend I used them for a moderate to severe 10 mile hike in the lake district and I'm very pleased with the performance. They are a definite step up from my old Renegades and I could really feel the extra support and durability. I am very pleased with the purchase and Lowa have been a pleasure to deal with.
