“Great shoes for my feet, extremely comfortable, hard wearing, easy to clean and look good too. I bought my first pair three years ago and soon bought a second in a different colour as they helped, very quickly, to sort out my painful heels. I am now on my fourth pair as only now my first, which have been worn constantly, have finally succumbed. The biggest problem has always been actually getting them in size seven (UK), I would have liked the blue ones this time but the only pair I could find were in Germany and they would not ship to UK. Sourcing has always been a problem”

“The Renegade is my ‘go to’ boot, I’m on my third pair. Why? Very comfortable, great support, superb build quality. I walk 50 miles per week on mixed terrain and these meet the demands required.”

“The best boots I have worn wore out so had to replace them with the same...and that includes over 30 years of military service. The boots were ordered and dispatched immediately. Excellent service.”

“This is my third pair of Renegades. They are excellent boots and in the latest model the wide fitting is very comfortable. Their weakness is that they wear out on the heels first and long before the main soles. An effective resolving service would be appreciated.”

“This is a perfect fit for me and looks gorgeous. Lowa has been a classic and stable supplier for those who look for a good quality hiking boots. Got this with great Easter special deal with speedy delivery and return options but I'm not going to return mine!!”

“Wore them for the first time today. It rained and they bled blue dye everywhere I walked. I wasn’t popular, and had to change into a pair of flip flops, which is all I had at the time. I may review my choice, but at the moment, I am not happy.”

“Walking shoes received in broken outer box but inner box containing shoes OK. Took over 3 days for shoes to be delivered not next day as per website. Not had chance to wear shoes therefore reserve judgement.”

“Currently on my 6th pair of Lowa shoes / boots with another pair on the way. I’ve always found footwear by lowa to be amongst the best. The only thing I add is new superfeet green insoles as I’ve found manufactures insoles to be slightly too thin.”

“I've worn top-of-the-range all leather Lowa hiking boots for over 30 years now (having had two pairs and at least three re-soles during that time), so when I decided I needed a replacement they were naturally my first port of call. My previous boots were purchased in specialist retailers in Austria and so I was delighted to find that one can now buy from their UK distributor by post; try them indoors for fit; and if they're not suitable return f.o.c. for refund. Lowa offer an extremely wide range of boots and walking shoes and best of all are available not only in half sizes but many models in three different widths too (and some with an unnecessarily wide choice of subtlely-different colourways!). Needless to say their stock levels must be very extensive! I had a number of email exchanges with the office before buying and the advice and responsiveness was first-rate. I'm pretty good at finding fault but I am more than happy to recommend Lowa to others without qualification (and indeed have done so to two walking pals this week already).”

“After wearing just one the insoles rode up the back of the boot, had a new insole and does the same thing. Either I have weird feet or there is an issue with these. Cant say its ever happened with other shoes or boots ive bought. Been a total waste of money for me as unable to return.”
