“I wanted the Vegan boots but they started at size 8 - or 7 wasn't available, so I bought a heavily discounted regular boot. Those arrived quickly and are very solid and feel great thus far. The delivery driver left the boots at completely the wrong house but this is normal for my address because Google refuse to fix their maps.”

“After eight seasons beating on the Grouse moor my trusty Evo GTX finally started to show their age so I replaced them with exactly the same boot. Got them with the 30% off deal and they arrived promptly. Yes you can buy cheaper boots but as the saying goes “ buy cheap buy twice “.”

“Very impressed with my Renegade wide fit. Always difficult to find wider fit walking boots and as I have a bunion it makes it nearly impossible Previously had a pair of Taurus Pro Gtx which I liked but the soles only lasted me 6 months. I do an awful lot of walking so need a tough sole and hoping these are the ones. The renegades are a bit heavier and more rigid so are taking some wearing in but have only had them 6/7 weeks so getting there now”

“Soooo comfortable without any wearing in. Hoping they will be waterproof for longer than my previous lowa gtx boots as less stitching to come apart. Definitely looks a better design”

“I've ordered Lowa on line for several years. I like the Renegade trainers better than any. They are comfortable and remain waterproof throughout their long life. If only the soles lasted as long, but then I walk my dog twice every day! This year I am also trying out lightweight boots. I've only wore them once so far, but found them extremely comfortable. I should say I am an octogenerian who does quite a lot of walking so need stable, waterproof, comfortable footwear.”

“I bought a pair of Lowa boots 13 months ago. They weren't cheap and they started leaking but Lowa wouldn't honor the guarantee because that's only for 12 months. They did offer me a 40% discount on a new pair. Even with the discount I still ended up paying 180 pounds. So I accepted this offer. Separately I have bought some waterproofing agent which I have applied to my new boots in the hope that they will last longer than the old pair. If they don't I certainly won't be paying for a third pair! The new pair arrived with a slight mark on the surface but to be honest I'm beyond caring about cosmetics I just need something to keep my feet dry.”
