“Had these boots for a few weeks and so far so good. My feet are dry and most importantly they are super comfortable. I would recommend a half size bigger than your usual size. These are a perfect fit, but snug with walking socks.”

“Been wearing these boots daily for five and a half years. They are as comfortable now as they were when new. Just noticed now that the heel has started to wear through and separate. Due to the amount of wear they have had they are exceptionally well made. Now to look for a replacement pair.”

“I have been walking in Renegades for many years and many miles and I am on my fourth pair. They are the perfect fit for me and several of my aquaintances who bought them on my recommendation. I managed to buy one of the last pair of these much loved boots. Sadly the new version of the Renegades is more 'tailored' to the foot. Why fix something that isn't broken? I doubt that they fit as well and are as comfortable as ye olde Renegades were.”

“Really good boots! Super comfortable right out of the box and very sturdy/supportive. Sizing was spot on. Excellent grip and waterproof. I've not worn them for years yet (only weeks) but I am looking forward to! I've put 4 stars as I can't comment on the longevity but hope it lives up to my expectations.”

“I have narrow feet and struggle to find shoes that fit but these are great and also really comfortable. A different walking experience to springy trainers but they feel very stable”

“I had high hopes for these boots after watching reviews. Tried them out last week in the Scottish Highlands. They have poor traction on light snow and struggle with getting a grip on wet surfaces. I don't know if this is a manufacturing fault or standard design flaw. I have worn Solomans, Meindl and Hoka's over tough trails without this problem. I don't feel comfortable wearing these boots as they feel unsafe.”

“This is the 4th pair of walking boots that I’ve bought from Lowa. I’ve managed to wear them all out over the years so recently bought a new pair but slightly different style. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable from the moment I put them on and I’ve barely taken them off since 😄 I’m normally a size 7.5 but I know I need an 8 with walking boots. Would definitely recommend going up a half size than what you normally wear. Easy and fast delivery too. 10/10”

“I have had lows walking boots and trainer over the last 20 years, fantastic. My first pair of walking trainers needed replacing after 29 of heavy use! Please to see the same wer still available, comfortable from new.”
