“The Lowa Hiking boots are the best i have worn for many endeavours. They are comfortable with your regular sizing,robust and easy to maintain. All in all an awesome product from Lowa.”

“I love Lowa boots and shoes. Lightweight but tough and really well made. There's no error that the British army loves them and uses them. I have just bought a pair of their Renegade GTX shoes and have bought the waterproofing and leather care package because I like to look after things that look after me and if Lowa endorses them they must be good, and they are. Just as an aside I like Hanwag boots and shoes, made to the same standards by his brothers company”

“Have owned L owe walking boots for several years. It decided to try some hiking shoes. Recommended I go up half a size on website, was a bit dubious but I did. Perfect fit, walked 5 miles on first wearing with no problems at all. Done several more long walks feet have remained dry and blister/sore free. Would definitely recommend.”

“Had these boots for a few weeks and so far so good. My feet are dry and most importantly they are super comfortable. I would recommend a half size bigger than your usual size. These are a perfect fit, but snug with walking socks.”

“Been wearing these boots daily for five and a half years. They are as comfortable now as they were when new. Just noticed now that the heel has started to wear through and separate. Due to the amount of wear they have had they are exceptionally well made. Now to look for a replacement pair.”

“I have been walking in Renegades for many years and many miles and I am on my fourth pair. They are the perfect fit for me and several of my aquaintances who bought them on my recommendation. I managed to buy one of the last pair of these much loved boots. Sadly the new version of the Renegades is more 'tailored' to the foot. Why fix something that isn't broken? I doubt that they fit as well and are as comfortable as ye olde Renegades were.”

“Really good boots! Super comfortable right out of the box and very sturdy/supportive. Sizing was spot on. Excellent grip and waterproof. I've not worn them for years yet (only weeks) but I am looking forward to! I've put 4 stars as I can't comment on the longevity but hope it lives up to my expectations.”

“I have narrow feet and struggle to find shoes that fit but these are great and also really comfortable. A different walking experience to springy trainers but they feel very stable”
