“It took me a little while to work out how to assemble the lights, but they are now hanging up and look fantastic! I wanted something a bit different to the usual fairy lights and these are perfect. Very happy.”

“Great product and customer service, only thing preventing a 5 star was the delay in shipping the lights. We'd left it a little late to order the lights and so selected the express delivery. There was a problem with availability of some of the colours which caused a delay, we weren't notified of the delay and this caused a little angst in getting the lights delivered in time. Kate was able to change the shipping address and we got the lights with a day to spare. Good result in the end but a little better comms from Cable and Cotton could have avoided the issue entirely”

Hi Jane. Uh oh, that's not good. We need to get this sorted out asap. Xmas season is upon us and what is Xmas without Cable & Cotton fairy lights? Dark, gloomy, cold and sad I would suggest. Hi Steven, Thanks for the feedback and glad you like the cotton ball fairy lights. I guess the introduction of the LED lights was always going to be just after some people had bought the originals. Sorry this was you in this case. If you'd like to get in touch with Kate on hello@cableandcotton.com, as an existing customer, she will be able to offer you a discount on a new string of LEDs and you can swap over your current ball lampshades. “I had been having ongoing problems with a set of lights I bought about a year ago. I already bought 2 sets of replacement bulbs but more than 10 were still out. I explained I wasn't happy about the longevity of the set. Within minutes of sending the email I received a response and the offer of a new LED string which should eradicate this problem. The LED string works fantastically. I have been very impressed by the rapid, friendly response and solution to the problem. Top marks Cable and Cotton.”

Dear Liza, Thank you for your post and feedback - I am sorry that you did not see the information on the cable when placing your order and I shall pass your helpful suggestion on to our website team. If you have a mobile phone charger plug this also works with the cable - some customers have spares of these already which is why it does not come with the plug automatically. “I thought the the cost of the replacement bulbs were high- also they didn’t solve the problem. The plastic is really brittle so we’ve had to throw them away.”
