“i am fairly happy with the quick turn round between delivery and payment of sales. However i do not think we buy books are competitive with other buyers resulting in less sales, and i find it annoying that the first four items of a sale are often priced at 5p becuase they are of low value.”

“service was quick and super easy with the app but you hardly get any £ for your books - more like pennies. It's really about cleaning out and downsizing and rather than give away you at least get a few pounds.”

“I was very impressed initially, as the first book I offered was accepted at a decent price, and the delivery label appeared immediately. I was also impressed at their access to a database which gives a thumbnail of the book you're offering. But since then I've been disappointed at their offer of £.05 for some sumptuous arts books I have offered, and in fact rejection of some other books in other fields which have been very well reviewed. I will certainly be using Webuybooks again, but wonder if the tactics are the same as gambling sites which let the punter win first time round in order to ensnare them.”

“First parcel was 'lost' by Hermes. They weren't helpful at all. However We buy books did give me the agreed payment but I never did know whether the parcel arrived or not. My next deal, the payment wasn't processed so had to chase even though I had an email to say everything was OK. However to be fair it was dealt with quickly once I complained. All in all, perhaps I've been unlucky as I have had no problems with them before this.”

“Didn't collect on time because apparently too many characters on the instructions so it couldn't fit for them to read it all. Why is the option there? Ended up taking to a local pick up point.”

“Got the books for the price that was offered which was excellent. However, some books which are good quality and good year are only worth like a couple of pence which I don’t think is very good.”

“Having rated this site highly we have since revised our opinion following the loss of an item on a prior consignment by WBB. We now have a cautious restrained approach and do not trade as much as we once did. We cannot see this changing in the foreseeable future.”

“Sometimes a bit on the slow side. I sent a parcel to you 16 days ago and haven’t heard from you yet to say that you’ve received it, therefore not been paid for the books.”

“Although quick and efficient payment, if the books are not in as new condition, I find they get rejected. The cost to yourself to get them returned is expensive. So unless like new better to sell on Amazon or Ziffit.”

“Easy to input details onto the WBB system, but their offer valuations are way too low (ie, very often they will only offer 5p for a book).”

“Good app and service is reasonable when shipping; processing and payment taking around 10 days after receipt. As far as valuations go in my experience about 1/3 of the titles I was selling were valued highest on WeBuyBooks and 2/3 went to a competitor who paid more.”
