I think when things where listed and sent your service is good. However I do think a more user friendly barcode imputer service would be more user friendly like music magpie or ziffit have. However being able to imput more than one barcode at a time out flanks both of these other services. Its just a ball ache to keep clicking on the barcode imputer after clicking ok on the same message you flag up if you don't want to except a book. I don't much care to the reason why you don't wan't it I just want to imput the next Item swiftly. This is where the other two services I mentioned above have the upper hand. As its a real ball ache typing ISBN numbers or even scanning in barcodes to start with.

Slower than their competitors and lost an order- on the good side when I contacted them they responded quickly

Efficient and speedy service with packaging, postage and payment. But do think the prices offered in the first place could be better, and more competitive.

They accepted only one third of what I wanted to sell. Sending out and payments were very smooth and top rated. Later I had a second thought and tried another company. They accepted half of what were left and though the process was a bit slow, it seemed the purchase prices were slightly better than WeBuyBooks. Overall I cannot give higher than an average rating.

Unfortunately a lot of stock was not accepted - so took a while to scan in barcodes etc, but then they were declined. Otherwise the experience was good!

We find books are rejected for the smallest flaw so only send books if they are in extremely good condition. Competitors ie Ziffit, Music Magpie accept good condition books but don't have to be as new. Books that could have been sold for £20 and £30 on Amazon in good condition are 'recycled. However, the system is easy to use and payment is fast. Just make sure your books are as new.

They rejected more items than they accepted so spent a lot of time scanning dvds only to be rejected. My wife also used you to sell books and spent 3 days waiting for collection by Hermes who failed to collect the books

Selling books that are accepted by you is very easy, Unfortunately the number of books that you wanted was a very small proportion of the books I wanted to sell.

It seems to take longer than what we are lead to believe from what said in the sales pitch.

Average experience overall. Fairly quick turn-around on payment. Value achieved for books was pretty poor given that they were in nearly new condition.

Takes nearly 2 weeks for the books to be received and reviewed.

Collection and payment procedure is brilliant but prices are unacceptably low e.g. 95p. for a good quality book that cost me £20. This has made me think twice about using the company again. You can obviously pay more as your occasional '10% extra' promotions show.

i am fairly happy with the quick turn round between delivery and payment of sales. However i do not think we buy books are competitive with other buyers resulting in less sales, and i find it annoying that the first four items of a sale are often priced at 5p becuase they are of low value.

service was quick and super easy with the app but you hardly get any £ for your books - more like pennies. It's really about cleaning out and downsizing and rather than give away you at least get a few pounds.

I was very impressed initially, as the first book I offered was accepted at a decent price, and the delivery label appeared immediately. I was also impressed at their access to a database which gives a thumbnail of the book you're offering. But since then I've been disappointed at their offer of £.05 for some sumptuous arts books I have offered, and in fact rejection of some other books in other fields which have been very well reviewed. I will certainly be using Webuybooks again, but wonder if the tactics are the same as gambling sites which let the punter win first time round in order to ensnare them.

First parcel was 'lost' by Hermes. They weren't helpful at all. However We buy books did give me the agreed payment but I never did know whether the parcel arrived or not. My next deal, the payment wasn't processed so had to chase even though I had an email to say everything was OK. However to be fair it was dealt with quickly once I complained. All in all, perhaps I've been unlucky as I have had no problems with them before this.

Didn't collect on time because apparently too many characters on the instructions so it couldn't fit for them to read it all. Why is the option there? Ended up taking to a local pick up point.
