I fully appreciate they are in this to make money, however some of the prices offered are absurdly low, just not worth selling I’d rather give books to the local charity shop

Easy straight forward process but some of the valuations are ridiculously low.

I think this is a wonderful way to get rid of your books and games. Especially the ones that don’t sell on Amazon. You don’t get a lot of money for them but it’s better then nothing. I would have rated 5 stars but I was unaware that you have to send your order in 7 days. Beyond that the vakue you got is not valid. So I ended up getting £2 less for my last order. They should also maybe try to be on same level as competitors like Ziffit. Sometimes they offer slightly more for your items but downside to them is they don’t always show up for collection.

I think when things where listed and sent your service is good. However I do think a more user friendly barcode imputer service would be more user friendly like music magpie or ziffit have. However being able to imput more than one barcode at a time out flanks both of these other services. Its just a ball ache to keep clicking on the barcode imputer after clicking ok on the same message you flag up if you don't want to except a book. I don't much care to the reason why you don't wan't it I just want to imput the next Item swiftly. This is where the other two services I mentioned above have the upper hand. As its a real ball ache typing ISBN numbers or even scanning in barcodes to start with.

Slower than their competitors and lost an order- on the good side when I contacted them they responded quickly

Efficient and speedy service with packaging, postage and payment. But do think the prices offered in the first place could be better, and more competitive.

They accepted only one third of what I wanted to sell. Sending out and payments were very smooth and top rated. Later I had a second thought and tried another company. They accepted half of what were left and though the process was a bit slow, it seemed the purchase prices were slightly better than WeBuyBooks. Overall I cannot give higher than an average rating.

Unfortunately a lot of stock was not accepted - so took a while to scan in barcodes etc, but then they were declined. Otherwise the experience was good!

We find books are rejected for the smallest flaw so only send books if they are in extremely good condition. Competitors ie Ziffit, Music Magpie accept good condition books but don't have to be as new. Books that could have been sold for £20 and £30 on Amazon in good condition are 'recycled. However, the system is easy to use and payment is fast. Just make sure your books are as new.

They rejected more items than they accepted so spent a lot of time scanning dvds only to be rejected. My wife also used you to sell books and spent 3 days waiting for collection by Hermes who failed to collect the books

Selling books that are accepted by you is very easy, Unfortunately the number of books that you wanted was a very small proportion of the books I wanted to sell.

It seems to take longer than what we are lead to believe from what said in the sales pitch.

Average experience overall. Fairly quick turn-around on payment. Value achieved for books was pretty poor given that they were in nearly new condition.

Collection and payment procedure is brilliant but prices are unacceptably low e.g. 95p. for a good quality book that cost me £20. This has made me think twice about using the company again. You can obviously pay more as your occasional '10% extra' promotions show.
