“Over 2 weeks for them to receive my trade. 3 attemps for them to pay me as they kept saying my details were entered wrong. I appreciate mistakes happen and maybe I made an error the 1st time but 3 times I apparently entered the details wrong which I found odd I ended up having to attach pics of what I entered to prove it was correct. Was bit of a nightmare. If you were a bit tight for cash and are trading to help then I found this site wouldn't help in terms of quickness. I did get paid the amount quoted and people on the phone were really friendly through. If you are given a good price and not desperate for the money then its not the worst site out there”

Hello. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about the delay with your payment. Having looked into this further, we can see that an incorrect sort code had been provided which caused this delay. For security purposes we cannot view or edit the bank details linked to an account, therefore the correct sort code was needed to be entered from your side. “Very prompt and efficient service but accepts a very limited quantity of books. I scanned 8 large boxes of books and of those, only half of one box was accepted. Scanning all 8 boxes and having so few accepted for the princely sum of a little over £14 made it hardly worthwhile. I ended up carting all the other books off to a charity shop depot. 5 stars for people's customer service, the ISBN scanning facility and the Hermes pick-up, but probably just the 1 star for the actual book-buying service.”

We’re sorry to hear some of the items you scanned were not accepted at this time. Although we do try to buy as many items as possible, our decision is based on the supply and demand on the market and our stock levels. It’s possible that we had excess copies in our warehouse or that the items were not selling on the marketplace to a level where we wished to purchase further copies. This demand can change on a day-to-day basis, and it can be worth rescanning items at a later date if you aren't in a rush to declutter.
