“After reviewing several companies, WeBuyBooks appeared to provide better value for money and they delivered a quick turn around. However, I would appreciate some sort of tracking from Hermes in future”

“I would advise anyone with spare books to sell to use WeBuyBooks. Their communication was excellent and money paid fair I thought. So easy to use site, friendly people at the end of the phone to deal with questions, and a fair price given.......which enables me to buy even more books! What’s not to like!”

“I would like to say that Webuybooks offered by far the best price for the books compared to other sites. It was rated in an article that I had read. Everything was easy from filling in the form to books being collected. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars was that I spoke to someone on line questioning as to whether I could send the books in 1 box or 2 and she said, that I had to send 1. As I only had small wine boxes, this was an issue. This conversation took some time so meanwhile I had ventured into the form filling and you just had to state how many boxes so her comments were totally irrelevant.”

“This was a excellent way to have a good sort out of all my academic books. Most books you don't get a huge second hand value for, but at least it was something rather than them sitting in my cupboard.”

“Excellent prompt service. Good to be able to get valuation immediately online and that label is provided for packing up books. Cheque arrived straight after books received and approved by company. Tracking information provided for parcel collection. Great that courier can collect from door.”

“Very convenient but paid slightly less than I hoped compared to what I think my books were worth. I accept that some of the cost is covering the convenience of their app and their posting of the books. Still, I would hope for a little more money for the books I sold. I like the way the app works and the collection was great. Would give 5 stars if they paid even slightly more.”

“Generally better prices offered than their competitors, don’t know why they do not facilitate Steelbook Blu-ray though ,and some of the money offered for the likes of Folio society books is ridiculous.”

“Quote process is easy and website is easy to navigate from quote to offer and acceptance. Process is slightly let down by the Courier collection which had to be arranged and then re-arranged two further times taking three weeks in total.”
