“It would be great if they accepted more titles and/or pay more than a few pence. Also the packaging labels they send have way too much unnecessary paper. Other than that happy with them.”

“Advertised as 10% extra added on to first trade but when asked how to get it I wasn't helped enough - would be a better system if Webuybooks automatically applied the extra instead of making it difficult for first time users. Mine was a very small amount but it's more the principle that is important. I also think it would work to the advantage of Webuybooks if they changed to this method.”

“I wasn't paid, and when I contacted them to ask about it, they didn't get back to me. Additionally, they contacted me to say that the highest value book I had sent in wasn't in the box, and deducted its price from my order, which didn't matter because they didn't pay me anyway. Very disappointed.”

We have looked into this trade for you and can see that one item was missing from the offer when it arrived with us; therefore a dispute email was sent explaining this and the amended offer was swiftly accepted by yourself. The offer was then entered into the payments process, however, an incorrect account number had been provided to us, meaning the payment was not received. Once the payment details had been updated, the offer was put back into the payment details and processed the following working day. The prices offered via our website or app are based on the supply and demand in the market which is beyond our control, however, this can change quickly if you wanted to check again in the future. Having looked into this further, we can see that the payment was delayed as the box did not arrive with us. As a result, we paid for the items in full and contacted the courier to chase up delivery. Despite the vast majority of packages arriving within five working days, there can sometimes be delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
