“The water butt is great, decent quality threaded connectors to the butt, all the bits you need. My only gripe is that the delivery took so long and you couldn't get through on the phone to ask why. I recommend you use the email to contact them if needed. I can only assume there have been some delays due to COVID it something. It would have been nice to have got a 'sorry there have been delays' email.”

“Disappointed that the plug in the planter section leaks, as I had planned to use this as a small water garden. Difficulty dealing with the the company as impossible to contact them on the phone and emailing proved frustrating too as I seemed to get two + automatic replies for each one I sent. Happy with water butt so far, but there has been no rain yet, so not been able to use it.”

“I am doing this review based on customer service only and not the product. My order was placed on the 1/4/21 and as at the 27/4/21 no delivery and further more I have not been kept informed at all as to the progress of my order. I sent an email asking for a time window and was told as it stands delivery would be W/C 26/4/21 so there could be further delay. I have tried to contact them by telephone on more than one occasion but as other reviewers has stated the line is always busy. As with other companies why is there no recorded message stating any problems there may be. There is a total disregard here for customer satisfaction and I intend to cancel the order and seek a refund if the order has not been shipped by week end.”

“Excellent speedy service of my White Porcupine brush for the guttering of my conservatory. I use this particularly to stop the birds swimming in my gutter which then causes a mess on the windows. I was replacing some that I have used for 5 years. I recommend cutting into pieces. slightly larger than the distance between each bracket. This will make them easier to replace next time. (The first time, I had done it in a long length under several brackets and that was then more difficult to remove for replacement.) This porcupine gutter brush is one of those household items that I would not like to be without.”

“The 2 stars is for customer service, however, I give 5 stars for the water butt. I placed an order for the 180L Garden Planter water butt in Green Marble and paid in full. However it took Water Butts direct 4 weeks to process the order. During this 4 weeks I sent 3 emails asking why there was a delay to processing my order. My only response from WBD was 3 automated emails advising me when the office hours were open and that they would respond to my query within 24 hrs, I never did get a response. Furthermore, every time I tried to call the office it was engaged. After 4 weeks my order changed from “processing” to “ ordered”; however, no tracking or shipping details were available. After another week I received a phone call from the Carrier advising me that they would be attempting to deliver within 2 hours, totally unacceptable. To add further insult I subsequently discovered that if I had gone direct to the manufacturer/supplier it would have been £40 cheaper. Water Butts Direct need to send their employees on Customer Service training. Please note I am extremely pleased with the water butt, pity about the customer service.”

Hi Michael, Apologies to hear you're not happy but glad to hear you are very satisfied with the product you received. It does state on the product page that due to extremely high demand, it is taking longer for the product to arrive but many apologies to hear you were unable to get in contact with us. Due to social distancing, we are still dealing with a limited number of staff in the office and are working as hard and fast as we can.
