“Swift delivery”

“Having ordered 2 water butts from the company, with a good experience, I decided to place an order for 1 200 litre aerobin. Unfortunately my experience this time was poor all round. Firstly the one I ordered wasn't available (despite being in stock). This was communicated a week later that a replacement colour would be sent. I asked for this to be delayed by 1 week as I was about to go on holiday, which they agreed, but then sent it anyway. It arrive d while i was away, ;wft with a neighbour several doors away and no indication who it was left with. Understand delivery issues are not fault of comany, however absilutely no assistance in helping me locate and meant I was just knocking on every neighbours house trying to locate. Once I unboxed and tried to assemble the thing, was a complete disaster and ended up with broken panels. Zero resolution from custoemr services, despite multiple emails, photo evidence. I gave up in the end after 2 weeks and the aerobin went to the tip. I left a review for the aerobin composter, however water butts direct have chosen to not publish this to the product page and the 200litre aerobins have zero reviews on this site - curious! I have no faith that any issues will be resolved with this company and therefore woul d not purchase anything again from them in the future.”

Hi Tracey, on checking our records I confirm that in May we responded to your e-mails asking for assistance by sending you detailed instructions on how to assemble your Aerobin. When you damaged parts during the assembly process we asked for photos of the damaged parts so we could replace them. I can't see that we had a response from you, but if you did I can only apologise for not getting back to you. It might have been worth calling us and we could have tried resolving the situation which would have meant that you wouldn't have had to throw your Aerobin away. Original Organics

“I ordered 3 items from Water Butts at the start of July 2025 , 2 of which arrived promptly. However the 3rd item, priced £17 has not arrived. I contacted the company in August and they sent another item via Evri. The delivery advice first said it was being delivered that day, then it said it would be delivered the next working day. Nothing has arrived yet, despite contacting Water Butts. Not impressed as this saga started 3 months ago...”

“Was not able to see how order was progressing or when it would be dispatched. First I knew was when I got an email telling me it would be delivered that day Also not that chuffed with the shape of the butts themselves. Their footprint is bigger than norms water butts. And you need to have long arms and be very flexible to unscrew the tap from inside to set it up”

“Order placed 6th Sept. Water Butts Direct sent email 11th Sept wanting feedback on item; I sent email to customer service about non-delivery. Evri sent email 13th Sept that it had received item. Didn't here back from Water Butts Direct until 15th Sept, email said item had been shipped. Evri then said item would arrived on 16th Sept. However, it took Evri until late 18th Sept to deliver water butt (after at least 2 delays). Did Evri loose water butt? DON'T USE EVRI.”

“Haven't actually got them fixed up yet as having guttering put in and there going to fix them to the butts they look ok got all fixture and fittings so I'm pleased with them.”

“Web site stated 18in Tru Drop planters in stock, however after waiting 2 weeks no delivery or response and items now shown as out of stock. After phoning and requesting refund I was informed I would be contacted same day for resolution. Still no response, very poor communication, hence will wait a few more days and raise issue with my credit card company.”
