“VHL carried out a service on our Viessmann System Boiler today. The engineer called ahead to say he was on his way and I found the tracker useful. Th engineer showed signs he was knowledgeable of the boiler, which is not a ‘standard’ one that gets fitted by say British Gas. The service was carried out, making the necessary checks on the Flue and Gas Meter. The ’Magaclean’ unit was checked and filter washed. When the service call was finished I received the Job Card by email confirming what was checked and passed. Overall an excellent service, with full status awareness using technology to keep the customer briefed. Excellent! Thank you VHL. AP - Barnet”

“I was pleased that VHL was able to notify me of the engineers likely time arrival. He was very thorough and though the blockage was more substantial than at first thought sufficient attention and care was given to reducing what a follow inspection would entail. “Great customer service from VHL, your engineer arrived on time, was polite and able to offer tips on caring for my boiler. He was also able to add on the service of my gas fire at short notice which was much appreciated. See you again next year!”

“The Village Heating engineer who serviced our boiler was very efficient and courteous. His work seemed to be more thorough than previous services carried out by other companies. After completion of the boiler service, I received a two detailed written reports regarding my boiler - something no other company has provided. Overall, I was very satisfied with Village Heating.”

“What ever you do, DO NOT USE VILLAGE HEATING. I had the worst experience fixing my leaking tap with Village Heating. Two days after the plumber "fixed" my tap it broke again. This time it was even in worse condition than before - the leak was twice as heavy and the tap couldn't be used anymore. I tried to arrange a new viewing which they initially agreed to, but when the time came (I took a day off work for this), they told me there was no appointment marked in their calendar. And what's worse, they now said it would cost £320 just for someone to come look at my leaking tap! Needless to say, they never returned the original amount that I paid for the job (£110). If I could give this company zero out of ten, I would. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.”

“I had a fantastic heating engineer arrive today, to replace a major part in my Worcester Bosch boiler. He did the job extremely well & even refused a coffee. He was very friendly & just got on with the job. Another young man came along at the latter stages & fit some brackets around the flu vent of the boiler in the loft. They both did a tremendous job & I will be remaining a loyal customer to you. The lady on the phone in customer service was fabulous too. 5 Star rating!”

“Happy to report some fantastic and friendly service for a repair and service on my boiler this week. The team booked me in efficiently, the engineer arrived on time and with a smile, and the work was done quickly and effectively without any mess. The engineer also explained what he was doing which helped me understand better for the future. Highly recommended based on this great experience. Tom. NW6”

“My boiler stopped working and called Village Heating. An engineer came on the same day. Although the actual work was very simple (topping up the pressure) and was done within minutes, the engineer stayed for another half an hour showing me how I can better use all the functions on my boiler, which I thought went beyond the service. Pleasant and reliable service received, will use again!”

“Village Heating ripped me off of £100.00 this morning. It was a bitter experience when I called them yesterday I was not told that for an engineer to come out was £100.00. I was told that they do not charge for call out but upfront payment. Today the engineer visited and send a quote Which was confirmed by a female staff in the office that it £364.00 including VAT. I find their action deceitful, cheaters, thieves and not worthy to practice. God k now knows how many people have been ripped off in this manner.”

“Company reps never contacted me once they reviewed the works to be carried out. Obviously wasn’t making them enough money. Shocking behaviour, Potential customer stay away unless you want to pay out lots of money.”

“My central heating broke down at the weekend. I have a one year old, so getting it up and running quickly was very important. Village heating sent someone round in just one hour. The engineer was extremely personable and took the time to explain clearly what the issue was. Although a part was broken, he was able to temporarily fix the heating and provide a clear recommendation on how to proceed.”

“Company left me with a faulty part which was fitted in July 2018. I paid over £200 for a visit, including valve itself. Leak outside of the house re-appeared after few months. Issue was reported. Engineer came in and confirmed it was a problem on their part (but said someone else was to come in and fix it). Yet, I had to pay additional £90 'deposit' for his visit, luckily received £90 refund. As a follow up, I was said that 'part was ordered in and someone is to come to fix it' in Dec 2018, which never took place. Every time I phone in since then to follow up - no-one is ever able to assist. All that happens every time: I am promised a call back, and no-one ever does. I now reported this matter to CIPHE. I now am facing Health and Safety issues due to having a leak outside as a result of their lack of care (with -temperatures and it turning into ice). I paid £200 for services which were of unacceptable quality. Company offers a year guarantee on services/ parts - this is why I did not mind paying higher prices, but do not believe it, it is just another empty promise. I do not recommend the company, and I regret not reading some reviews on their website before ordering them.”
