I wrote the review below. I retract it. The company sent the engineer back who repaired the stairs. They came through in the end. I will use them again.

I've just used Village Heating for a gas boiler maintenance job in Wembley. They were quick and responsive. The booking times were fast and the work has been good. It's the second time I've used them and I'd do so again.

I had a faulty shower replaced, and so far so good. The engineer who came to fit it was fine but their communication and customer service is poor. I thought the cost was steep, because the first engineer who came to 'diagnose' stayed less than 10 mins and just took a couple of photos.

All efficient, however the guy didn’t really say anything to me. Just said ‘boiler?’ ans that was about it.

I have give a four star rating despite the fact that their website is inaccurate and they do charge a call out fee. Something I pointed out 24hours ago and has not been corrected. In addition the plumber arrived a day late. However the four star rating was for the plumber who when he arrived was polite, efficient and professional and was able to deal with my plumbing problem quickly.

Very good. Staff very helpful and explain in full on leaving what they have done or any actions taken. We have used on a number of occasions and always find them very friendly

Village Heating we’re extremely professional from the initial call and work carried out the following day. The follow up pictures and recommendations were speedily sent to me after the job was completed. A friendly and reliable service.

I was pleased that VHL was able to notify me of the engineers likely time arrival. He was very thorough and though the blockage was more substantial than at first thought sufficient attention and care was given to reducing what a follow inspection would entail. Very helpful and pleasant sorting out an appointment for the same day. Payment in advance is not ideal but the engineer was on time and fixed the issue within the hour. Also helped with a couple of other questions / issues that were not on the original request.

I would recommend Village Heating Company in emergency as I'very got an issue with my heating system a few days ago, and I've made an appointment ,they took the payment in advance, the engineer was late, but fortunately he fixed my boiler. He apologised for being late. Thanks .

I have used VHL on at least five occasions in the last 12 months. Their work has been excellent on the first four occasions, but on the last occasion when a kitchen tap was replaced, their plumber did not secure the new tap firmly onto the sink. Whilst there is no problem with its operation, it simply turns slightly to left or right when the hot or cold tap is turned on. I will need to get them back to fix it.

It was our free annual service as part of the new boiler installation. However, It would have helped if the engineer or somebody from the team could have offered to have further service package.

Good service from VHL. Had one of their boilers since 2009, get a yearly service through Homeserve insurance - which is expensive when you don't need it. Problem this weekend, noticed it Friday morning, no heating, hot water. Called them five o'clock Friday eve, engineer booked for Saturday. Called me at 08:45 to say he'd be with me between 11am/2pm. Showed up at 12:15, worked on the boiler, diagnosed the fault, gave good advice, was clean, polite and professional. First time this boiler has given me any cause for thought, so no complaints from me.

We have used Village Heating on numerous occasions now, most recently to fix a boiler and to replace a radiator. Always able to attend promptly, come prepared and stay till the problem is fixed. Boiler was replaced the same day it was identified that it needed replacing. Staff always been experienced and friendly. Very good value
