You need to add on your 24h recordings not just about no gas or heating but leaking boilers. Also nobody is answering your lines from 12 to 04:40 am for emergencies

Absolutely hopeless my sister has been without any heating for over 2 weeks.she is 72 and has ended up in hospital with a chest infection, with other things,in this freezing cold weather.Any time someone has turned up they cannot fix the boiler as they "need a bit".Once didn't even turn up at all. Each time she has had to get a friend (76 years old)to sit and wait in her cold house. Again waiting for someone today.supposedly first call and it is now 9.30

Firstly the engineer waked upstairs on my light carpet with filthy shoes, secondly they sent a plumber to fix a new pump for my boiler and for some reason he turned off the plug socket for my freezer causing approx £50 worth of spoiled food. I have emailed Wayne at VH twice to request compensation and had no reply. I have tried to call them today and held on for an hour (longer than the most awful TV or Internet companies) and had to give up. I am a Hillingdon Council tenant and I can only assume the council moved to them because they are cheap. Appalling customer service, I agree with other posters that the girls in the office can be rude and unhelpful

I had booked an appointment with village heating ltd on 30th October in advanced for the 17th of November between 8am -1 pm only to seat my gas boiler clock. On th 17 in the morning at 10 am I called to the company to find out when the engineer will arrive the person by the name of Ronni answered my phone she said we don't have any booking for you. I asked can you find out my first booking called on the 30th she said not possible. I missed one day my work and my earning for nothing just stayed at home the company treated us poorly I recommend to every one do not use this company at all.

Very rude customer service. My boiler won't turn off and keeps igniting itself. Lady on the phone told me to just turn it off by the mains and put it on when I need it. Absolutely appalling 2 week wait for appointment and they were so RUDE .

It is one of the worst companies I have seen. They don't care about the customer at all. I encountered a predicament with the hot water supply for showers. Initially, for the first three minutes, the water is adequately hot, but thereafter, it turns cold. I exercised patience until Monday when they dispatched an engineer. The engineer informed me that the boiler was malfunctioning and subsequently fixed it. Upon checking, I observed that the water temperature remained lukewarm. I communicated this to the engineer, who, rather dismissively, suggested that it was sufficient for showering and departed. Subsequently, I contacted their customer service, where a lady named Lina, or Lima (I cannot recall precisely), informed me that I would have to endure this inconvenience until the following week. I implored her, emphasizing the necessity of hot water during cold weather for my children's well-being. She regretfully responded that she could offer no solution and suggested that I speak to one of her colleagues. * It doesn't even deserve one star *

AVOID. Organised Village Heating to conduct an annual boiler review for £120 (inc VAT). Since being in the property (2 years), we've not had any issues with our boiler. A friendly boiler engineer arrived and conducted the review. He informed me that, although the boiler was old, there was nothing wrong with it. The following events unfolded after he left: - Village Heating emailed me with a quite for nearly £900 worth of repairs (not mentioned at all during the visit) - We woke up in the middle of the night to the boiler flashing F/1 and not working (we have a 6 week old child) - I reset the boiler but it continued to conk out and flash F/1 - Called Village Heating to explain the situation. Rather than addressing the issue, they asked me if I'd considered the quote of nearly £900 for repairs. - I restated the issue and was told I needed to speak to Customer Support. They put me through to a voicemail. - I called back and asked why they'd put me through to a voicemail. I was told that Customer Support was busy and that they'd call me back. - Still waiting for that call nearly 24hrs later... Do yourself a favour and avoid this company that is clearly taking advantage of vulnerable people.

APPALING. The costumer service is horrible. I was in shock with what i experienced the two times I phoned them. They mock about my accent the first time, the second time they literally hang up. It's unacceptable this behavior. You should be respectful with people no matter where they come from, we are your clients.

Really disappointed. We had no heating, all that was required was a simple pump change - which we had to find another plumber to do because no matter how many times I called, VH never gave me a final quote. Instead, after the initial engineer came out, they told me repeatedly that ‘we’ll get a quote out to you within the hour’ - for 3 days, until they stopped responding. Will never recommend VH and will never be going to them ever again.

I had a good experience until the past month when it has proven impossible to book the paid (platinum plan monthly payments) annual gas boiler maintenance. My calls are directed repeatedly to a voice message recorder OR calls simply do not go through . Emails are ignored or past contacts seem to have left. Online messages on the website also ignored. Very poor customer service Still waitinf

Please stay away from this company. Spent close to £1000.00 for a central heating issue (which was actually an issue with zone valve, originally suspected based on the google research and proven by another company). I suspected the issue with zone value (hot water works but heating is not) and mentioned this to the engineer from VHL, however he said issue is with bolier pump and there could be block in radiator and recommended to go for boiler pump replacement and power flush. So the first visit no fix was made and charged me £120 + VAT. Then second visit is to replace the pump and power flush, charged separately, all together reached close to £1000.00. When I noticed the heating is still not working, seems like intermittent, the VHL enginner said wait for a day to get the system back to normal. In two days I reported VHL that issue persists. I was told an enginner will come in two days but on the day I got a call and told enginner is sick. Another reason to stay away from this company is that they take advance payment in full. I soon realised I was ripped off and not going to get the heating issue fixed by them nor going to get any refund. I had to call another company, they changed the zone value in 20 mins, heating working as normal.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! All the other reviews were right and I wish that I had read them before wasting hundreds of pounds. They came to fix a problem with my undefloor heating. On the first visit they identified a problem and said I needed a new part. But on the second visit, to install that part, they suddenly identified another problem that would require another new part and another visit. They - who have a trade discount - then quoted me a price for the part which was 50% more than what I was able to find it for online. I refused to be scammed and went with another firm who were able to fix the problem for far less

I had a new toilet fitted 2 weeks ago with this company. Since then the seat and lid have been coming off. I called to ask someone to come and fix it, as it was not fitted correctly and they want to charge me £75 + VAT for them to repair a job that they hadn't done correctly in the first place. Such a cheek to pay for something that they did wrong!!!!

I had a few tasks for this company. They sent an engineer who completed a couple of the easier ones. He failed to fix one of our biggest issues which was to do with radiators. Also, in the course of changing a light fitting he carelessly stood on our bannister, broke it and said he’d come back to fix it. A week later he and others at the company tried to charge me £420 to do that. When challenged they claimed it wasn’t their fault and was an unavoidable accident. They are not to be be trusted. Other reviews here seem to also be negative about their service.

My new tenant did not know how to turn the heating on and as I live abroad I asked VHL to send someone to turn it on and checkout a possible leak on the radiator as well. I was asked to pay £120 upfront which would cover an hours work as well. The enginerr arrived 45 min late, spent barely 30 minutes in the flat, said he could not turn the heating on without pretty much replacing the whole system for £2580! So in effect they took £120 just as a call out charge. I called to complain and Chad promised to escalate the matter to management. Few days later all I get is the official quote for the work which was £2580! I fosmt feel comfortable with this so I asked another engineer to visit and quote me for the work. He not only got the heating on just by turning a key on the radiator but also said no other wirk was needed at all. So I will say, run a mile away from VHL they are going to rip you off and are too big to care about even responding to a complaint!!! I am attaching their quote and my tenants comments after the second engineers visit so you csn see for yourself how bad this company is.
