What’s the point if I get my dental history before I submit bills , photographs my receipts . Might as well just pay what I would have paid without all that hassle waste of time and money

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My employer advertised this to staff and told us all what a great scheme it is. I’ve made 3 claims at a band 1 in the last 2 years and none of them have gone through because I didn’t have a receipt with my name, date of treatment and amount paid. Most dentists do not provide this if you get NHS treatment these days and god forbid they help you with private treatments. It costs approx £10 a month and they make it as difficult as possible to make a small claim of £25 for a 15 minute check up at your dentist. Note the bad reviews before you sign up with this waste of a scheme. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. I’m sure this review will go unnoticed by them but if you see this before signing up then DONT sign up! Save your money

Dear Abbey, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback about your experience with us. We appreciate your honesty and value your opinion. Firstly, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience you faced with your claims. We understand that not being able to submit your claims due to the lack of necessary receipts can be frustrating that said, it is in the terms and conditions of the policy that all receipts must include your name. We do acknowledge that some dentists do not always provide full receipts as standard but they will provide one at your request. We are constantly striving to improve our services and make them more user-friendly. Your feedback is truly valuable to us, and we will take your concerns and suggestions into consideration to enhance our processes. Once again, we sincerely apologize for any frustration or disappointment you have experienced. Your review will not go unnoticed by us, and we genuinely appreciate your input. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and for allowing us the opportunity to address.

They make it as difficult as possible to claim and it seems I am not alone judging by the comments below. Glitches on claim site (You can't enter dentists address). Requesting so much information it takes a good 30 minutes to claim back 25 quid. I paid for my treatment by Credit Card but they are telling me the printed receipt I have supplied is insufficient as it does not show my name (why would it - what receipt ever does!) even though I have stated that the information provided is correct. Feels like a scheme is in place to loose as many claims as possible in the hope most people will just give up.

Very disappointed and frustrated with smile assured. I’ve still not recieved my refund from a dentist trip on the 16th Feb 2024 over 3 weeks ago. I’ve been paying monthly payments for my insurance for over a year and an half and have made only 2 claims for regular dental check ups under bands 1 for treatment. The claims portal doesn’t appear to work as I submitted my claim 3 times and they apparently still haven’t recieved it. I had to email the enquiries email to get any response and that has then gone ignored. I’ve submitted my receipt and screen shot of my bank statement to prove my payment as apparently they need your name on the receipt to prove it’s you? But my dentist just gave me a receipt for the treatment that was band 1. There is no communication, emails go ignored. I have called and emailed in order to get through to anyone and get passed through to different numbers, only to be told someone will get in contact. I get one email saying they need a name on the receipt to prove it’s me and after I send the photos again it has still gone ignored. I know it’s only £25.80 but what am I paying for if refunds arent processed? Very disappointed with the customer service so far and lack of support, forcing me to ring and email various contacts just to get ignored. I have another dentist trip today for preventative measures as Im going to work on a cruise ship for 9 months and want to make sure my teeth are in good health, but I’m already dreading the process of claiming this back. Very disappointed with the service so far and feeling scammed :(

I had issues with adding my claim online and when emailing staff they don't get back to you quick enough. As they work Monday to Friday it's quite difficult to get resultions before Friday and the query then extends to another week.

Not answering emails promptly, regarding refunding money they owe me, difficult to get hold of , emails do not have company name on so hard to find them, especially historic ones. I could say more but will wait to see If they get better before I go in hard.

Sorry to report that UKHealthcare have still failed to contact me with regards to a complaint I made 2 months ago This concerns a lack of clarity on my welcome letter which states my policy start date but DOES NOT state it operates a rolling program of renewal I have fallen foul of this system because I cannot access my claims history and I have no recollection of precise dates Why do they not have an easy to navigate claims history tab ? If this wasn’t a company scheme - I would return to our last provider

Dreadful You can’t access your claims history and without that knowledge you are liable to be unsuccessful because you may need to wait until the policy renews itself This lack of transparency has cost me £200 - if I had waited 2 months - I would have been successful . UK healthcare - does NOT make it clear that they have a rolling programme and it was certainly not stated on my introductory letter All that was clearly printed - was my policy start date I have submitted a complaint and they haven’t even acknowledged it AWFUL

Not the best service. I emailed a claim over a week ago. No confirmation emails, no notifications, no return emails.

Bad experience so far. Included wife to my workplace policy and submitted three claims currently. I submitted further details on each occasion as requested but each time they require something more or different. Still waiting for claims to be honoured since beginning of January 2024. I will be cancelling wife's policy once paid.

Live in Northern Ireland paid in years , nightmare , claimed virtually nothing of them and this last £11.95 seems to be breaking their bank . I’ve 4 apps for a new denture so if I’ve trouble now I will probably need blood an stool samples to accompany the DNA test and finish with gums

The admin system appears to be very manual, if a change is made to your corporate contract, it doesn’t appear to have been communicated to their staff. They will reject claims, and you then need to argue this, until the person goes and checks and realises that the contract had changed and you’re actually eligible for a payout. This month they’ve been very slow to respond, I made a claim on 5th Jan and still hadn’t got the money back. I’m just getting a generic response that it’s been forwarded to some other team, then weeks of silence.

Having submitted a claim over three weeks ago and twice supplying the info they required l am now being asked for more info showing exactly what l have supplied. Not impressed if this is the norm every time a claim is submitted. This company is certainly not recommended ....useless.

Recently tried to make a claim, for a consultation and a scan. I did not have a GP referral letter for the consultation as could not see a GP, therefore was told by this company that they could not help me with my claim. It is ludicrous that a private policy relies on NHS documentation as the basis of a claim!! Given that alternative private health care companies do not ask for this! I have since emailed twice to ask advice about claiming funds towards the scan as no small print around this. Only be ignored and not receive a response at all, as a result of what has happened I have cancelled my level one policy and had a response from Sara regarding my now basic level policy (that my employer pays) within less than 2 working days. Clearly, sales and taking money off people is the only aspect this company is interested in. One very disappointed customer, who would not recommend.

I submitted a printed receipt from our optician which gives the company name, address, date and time, receipt number, transaction number and the amount paid. Unfortunately because the receipt just says 'sales' rather than exactly what I was paying for, eg Sight test, my claim will not be processed.

My experience is not good. Claiming is very difficult, slow and involves email requests for various ‘proof’ and you need to consistently chase them afterwards. The 3-5 day promise of payment follow my latest email still has not materialised after 7 days of waiting, I wish I’d gone elsewhere for my policy! Too much hassle!
