NOT RECOMMENDED. I had NHS treatment for £141 & tried to claim this back. This is the only claim I've made on my policy since it began 2 to 3 years ago. The company said the treatment was Private which it was not. They have refused to pay on my policy.

Complete rubbish. Won’t pay out for hygienist as states they are private even though I have NHS dentist. My dentist doesn’t do scale & polish so you have to use the hygienist. Read the small print

Almost three weeks to have feedback on a rejected claim Not good enough , was told if there were any issues I would be contacted . I have done the chasing and not be dealt with fairly . Disgusting treatment . Cancelling membership forthwith .

very bad service. I made a call and I received a link to fill in the details to submit the claim. I did only to receive an email to say we do not accept claims via email but I should fill a form on the the link included in the email. The link is coming up with an error especially when I submit the attachment. Iam going in a circle here. not impressed at all. Now I have to send an email again which they told me already I will have to submit a claim via post. please tell me, is this year 1939?

Really bad service, unclear emails & one quite patronising employee. This is a benefit through work and honestly I haven’t been particularly impressed.

One of the worst companies to deal with. They won’t accept a receipt as a receipt and are making the claim process harder and harder

The web portal this company use for submitting claims is absolutely not fit for purpose. To start with, the field to enter the details of your dentist only allows thirty characters for the name of the practice and their full postal address, so good luck with that. Then the only options available to enter the cost of your procedure are for NHS dental rates with nothing for those on private plans. I called and spoke to someone at the office who was very helpful and told me to simply select the closest amount to my claim, but this is not clear from the form and there is no section to indicate the alternative amount you're claiming for. Finally after entering all of the information I found that the form would not submit, but there were no error messages so it wasn't a problem with the information I entered but an error with the form or website. I tried reloading the form, using a different browser and even a different computer but the same thing happens every time so this is not a user or local error. This was incredibly time consuming and ultimately was unsuccessful so I was no further forward almost an hour later and had to contact the office to ask what I needed to do. I submitted my claim by email instead but no one contacted me to explain my receipts hadn't been accepted and I didn't find out until almost three weeks later when I emailed back to ask what the delay was. As these are problems so easily remedied it really seems like the whole process is intended to deter claimants. It's genuinely a surprise that Unison would engage this company to process their dental insurance claims and for this reason I would steer clear of Unison dental insurance as well as this company. If they can't get something as simple as an online submission right you really have to wonder what's going on with the more complicated stuff.

Trying to get my first claim has been a nightmare. Emails back and forth not being picked up by the same individual. Keep moving the goal posts requesting different documentation. Proving to be more of a headache than beneficial

Re:Policy number 71743 I am no longer able to claim my costs back from the dentist as they have increased their prices slightly. Unfortunately I will have to leave the scheme and cancel my payments from now on. Thanks.

I set up my account and the first direct debit payment was taken, but I never received a welcome pack or membership details. When I contacted customer service, they couldn’t even locate my account. I cancelled my direct debit, and only then did they send me a notification complete with the account number they previously couldn’t find. Very disappointing experience.

Poor service, this company did not reimburse my claim. They were happy taking my premium but couldn't reimburse my claim.

Computer says no approach to claims. There is minimal guidance on how to make a claim. If its not perfect as they want, you just get rejected. They do not reach out to ask for clarification, and do not allow the opportunity to clarify, just close the claim.

I feel that I have been mis sold a policy that hasn’t covered my dental treatment. I would not recommend this policy at all to anybody as it doesn’t take into consideration the challenges that people have in getting g dental treatment under the NHS
