“MoneySavingExpert recommended this policy as suitable for regular contact lens users, but my experience has shown otherwise. UK Healthcare refused my claim because they expect purchases to align with a date they never clearly communicate, rather than when lenses are actually required. This makes the policy impractical and misleading for anyone who buys lenses in normal quantities. Their handling of my claim and the quality of their responses have been extremely poor, and I have now cancelled my policy. I would strongly advise against taking out this policy if your intention is to claim for regular contact lenses or dental treatment”

“Bit of an oversight with the claim amount but it was soon rectified once I contacted customer service & they corrected it straight away. They handle & pay out claims very promptly. I'm very happy with them”

“Tried six times to submit claim online, to no avail. I phoned customer services, (Nicola) was very helpful and sent me an email, I replied with my photo attachment and all done! This is not the first time the online claim portal has not functioned properly. Last time, I was told to post hard copy, all at my cost, including postage. Why? This all needs to be rectified.”

“For services such as optical, process for claiming is straightforward. Unfortunately if you wish to avail of services (such as complementary therapies), a doctor's letter is required. Given the difficulty contacting doctors, this is an unnecessary barrier to accessing services.”
