“Recently bought large farmhouse oak blanket box (1300mm width) to go at end of oak framed double bed. Beautiful golden brown wood stain. Very reasonably priced and quality seems excellent with near full opening side hinges. Shallow depth (410mm) well suited for room size. No hassle order with quick delivery (within 10 days). Very happy.”

“Delighted with my purchase of 3 over 4 drawer piece. It was an ex showroom piece so excellent value for money and fits perfectly into the space. Measurements just spot on. If I were to fault anything, I found that at the top of inside the drawers, the wood was rough and could have been smoothed to prevent scratches. The finish of the drawers overall is beautiful and delivery was spot on. Thank you”

“Ordered this having been to check out the Dartford store. The table arrived within 2 weeks of ordering. Free delivery. Great delivery guys. Table heavy so need two people to put together but very easy to do. Table looks better than it did in store. Only negative was the circular cut out in the cross brace which was a bit small for size of spanner provided and didn't provide a flat surface to sit against the bolt/washer.”

“Amazing quality furniture. It took us quite a long time to find the oak sideboards that we wanted to closely match our other finishings - then we found Top Furniture. We have to say, we are very pleased with the quality, service and delivery. You never really know when buying online - this order has exceeded our expectations. We had to wait a short while for one unit to come back into stock, not an issue as it allowed me to complete the decorating and get a new carpet laid. We were kept informed. Delivery was made early in the day as promised. The delivery guys were very polite and professional, respecting the new carpet extra by removing shoes. They unpacked both items and ensured we were happy before leaving with all the cardboard. Well pleased...we will be placing other orders I am sure.”

“I ordered the Farmhouse Country Oak bedroom furniture at the beginning of January 2026. Unfortunately I had to wait until 17th Feb for it ALL to be delivered. This was due to some items being out of stock at the time of ordering, but understandable as I had ordered 11 items of furniture. This furniture is to go in my new bedroom, which is a loft conversion that the previous owner of my bungalow did, but not to regulations. In the 5 years I have been here I have not been able to use this room & have spent the last year, & almost all my savings, getting the room corrected to meet regulations & to become my bedroom - including construction, plastering, plumbing, electrics, decorating, carpeting etc. I am also on my own with some non obvious disabilities. So when ordering this furniture in the sale, it looked beautiful, there was everything I wanted & all matching. Online reviews had mostly given 5 stars & very positive comments, especially delivery men. I was so excited, especially after a stressful last 12mths, & really looking forward to get the furniture & 1 step closer to eventually moving into the bedroom. I was also so pleased when I learnt that everything would come together. PROS: * All staff that I spoke to at Top Furniture were very helpful & friendly. * Small free furniture samples can be ordered. * Ordering the furniture online was easy & straightforward. * I was able to add to my order before delivery. * 5 star online reviews were encouraging. * Most furniture comes pre-assembled. * The furniture comes well packaged, which is reassuring for minimal damage risk during transit. * The delivery driver calls/texts on the day with an ETA. * The furniture is sturdy, fairly well made & looks beautiful. CONS: * The free samples came with sticky labels covering them which were really hard to get off & took the finish off the oak wood - so not a true likeness. * Not complaining that the furniture was well protected in all the packaging, but I am on my own with no help & it took me 9hrs to unpack 9 boxes. I was exhausted & in pain. * Although the furniture is sturdy the backs & underneath are quite rough. DELIVERY: I had a very bad experience with my delivery. I do not know the 2 delivery men's names only that one was Stewart, but I don't know which one. Delivery man 1 (DM1) initially came to my door & quite brightly asked which room I would like them to deliver my furniture. I then asked him if they could please take it to my upstairs room & invited him to come & see where I would like it to go before they brought the boxes in (12). I also asked him if the bottom of his shoes were OK as it was a brand new carpet up the stairs & in the room. DM1 briefly looked at the bottom of his shoes & said that they were OK. After this I explained that I was on my own, with no help, & had just spent the last year & tens of thousands of pounds putting this room right & that everything was brand new. I also politely asked if they could be mindful of this, especially the 2 wall lights on my stairs. After this DM1's attitude changed, he would only go as far as the bottom of the stairs to look, not even upstairs, & very negatively said 'No, there's no way we're going to get everything up there, we might get a couple of the smaller boxes up but definitely not the rest!' I politely suggested to him that please could they bring everything into the house & then go from there with trying to get everything up into the room. I then overheard him outside complaining to delivery man 2 (DM2) about me, his words were 'She's just told me she's spent tens of thousands of pounds putting this room right & now she wants us to take all these boxes up there!' Hearing this upset me, but I didn't say anything. DM2 seemed a very pleasant, considerate, friendly man who tried to be helpful & understanding but I sensed he was restricted by whatever DM1 dictated. DM1 became unfriendly, negative, unhelpful, no compassion or understanding & no respect especially for my brand new carpet! His shoes were not clean & he left several dirty foot prints at the bottom & on my stairs! He made no acknowledgement of this, although it was obvious, never mind an apology or offer to clean it! It took me over half an hour to clean the carpet after they left! The last 2 boxes were large ones, one being the assembled dressing table. DM2 politely & sympathetically told me that they would not be able to get these boxes up the stairs. I then suggested to him that if I unpacked the boxes could they then please try & get them up the stairs for me? Before DM2 could reply to me DM1 patronisingly & abruptly said 'No, there's no way we can get them up here, & we're not allowed to move furniture when it's unpacked!' DM2 looked at me, rolled his eyes & then suggested ways I could try & get the furniture upstairs if I was able to find someone to do it for me. DM1 just seemed to want me to arrange to return it! DM1 has badly let Top Furniture & it's reputation down. This man has no consideration, no understanding or helpfulness about him, he was very negative, abrupt & patronising. It was as if he had expected to do very little, he wasn't particularly polite & he definitely had no respect for the fact that I had just had a brand new carpet put down! On the other hand, DM2 is a credit to Top Furniture - he was friendly, polite, understanding, tried to be as helpful & sympathetic as he could be. I am very upset with how this delivery went when I was so excited & really looking forward to getting this furniture, it meant one step closer to moving into my new bedroom after 5 years of not being able to use the room. Unfortunately, because of DM1, I have had to rate 3 stars (I was expecting to rate 5). I was also going to tip both men £20 each, but again because of DM1 neither of them got anything - which is a shame for DM2. I also still have the dressing table stored in my living room & the other large box in my hall until I can/ if I can find 2 people to take them upstairs for me. RECOMMENDATIONS: * Please do not put sticky labels over samples. * ALL delivery drivers to have a positive, friendly, helpful, compassionate & understanding attitude - especially to customers who live on their own without help, the elderly & the disabled. * Supply delivery drivers with non slip over shoes, & for them to have respect for people's homes. * Consider offering an unpacking service, especially for those that live on their own without help, the elderly & the disabled. Unfortunately it has taken me several days to write this review as on 17th Feb (delivery day) it took me all day, on my own & until late at night to unpack most of the boxes & deal with other things. The following day it had taken it out of me - I was unwell & in pain. Yesterday & today have been the anniversary of my late father passing away.”
