“Until now I have bought Marmox direct from the manufacturer, but they don't offer this service any more. After searching around, Tile Experience offered the best price, taking delivery into account. The 20mm usually comes in boxes of 5, so, as my order was 15 sheets, I was expecting 3 boxes. There were more boxes, 5 I think, that had been re-taped up. A couple of sheets were slightly bowed which meant having to use Marmox wall fixings on those, which I was trying to avoid, using adhesive on the rest. Other than that, no issues.”

“The quarry tiles were exactly what I wanted, the ordering was easy, and the price including delivery was about right. APC the courier let the side down a bit but the item arrived safely, albeit with a delay of a day after some strange behaviour on the local tracking. I would order again.”

“Sample tile received (Dorset red) but expected Dorset Woolliscroft Red. Unfortunately tile sent is darker and thickness greater (by 2mm) than required tile(s). Are Dorset Wooliscroft red still available please?”

“Great people pretty good service. Stuff that was showing in stock unfortunately wasn’t so had to wait ten days for it to arrive. When it arrived yesterday it was in a million broken bits so returned it unopened. Have been promised replacement tomorrow. Fingers crossed.”

“Tiles delivered in good order. Would have been 5 stars if delivery had included an arrangement to call customer 30 mins before actual delivery time to allow some flexibility. Was also told it was guaranteed next day delivery if ordered before 12:00 mid day. It actually arrived two days later.”

“Tile Experience (TE) was 1 of 4 potential suppliers for our bathroom tiles. We needed to try 4 suppliers to get samples of different tile finish and colour varations. Most suppliers including TE provide small sample tiles FOC. As we were looking for very large marble effect tiles 1200x600, we needed larger samples 600x600 to make our final choice. Some suppliers provide these larger samples at a discounted price. TE don't do this so we paid full price and shipping for the sample. In this case it was worth it because we are going with the TE tile. Unfortunately the special 20% discount had disappeared by the time we had made our decision (!) but there was a discount code provided with the original samples!”

“Purchased BAL grout flex wide joint (white) .As a DIYer rather than a tiler I wanted a slow set grout for thick heavily textured vintage tiles .Very happy with this grout a nice crisp white a good colour match for my Carrara Marble fire place.”

“Ordered online, very easy, excellent prices. Picked up in person, where I did have to wait for a long time- no way to get attention, I just had to wait for someone to see me from the other side of the warehouse. Once someone did come over, it was quick and very helpful service. I’ll definitely buy from you again, just please install a working system to alert the staff to someone waiting to collect.”

“Although the person dealing with the purchase was absolutely lovely and very helpful, as it was a reorder there were a couple of things that made it very difficult. Mainly the batch number, very difficult to find and on one design we had to guess! Also the availability of tiles, I went in the shop on a Tuesday but the tiles will not be here until Monday. That is tricky because by the time you need more tiles, you really want them there and then.”
