“I have just received my Diplomat Traveller fountain pen which was promptly supplied at a competitive price and was securely packed. I have just inked it with an Edelstein Sapphire Blue cartridge and I must say that it writes really well without any skipping or hard starting. I will seriously consider this company for future purchases following this initial purchase.”

Hello Mark, Many thank again for your order - we're glad this has now arrived. The spare part you selected was marked for pre-order when you placed your order, but was subject to unexpected manufacturing delays. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the delay the manufacturer was not able to give regular updates, however, when this information was made available we updated yourself and other customers as possible. Your order was also affected by the changes to import regulations in the US - this straddled the Executive Order which came into effect on 29 August. The change in US legislation meant that all Airmail shipments had to be temporarily paused whilst Royal Mail’s systems were made compliant with the new US regulations. When stock arrived form Germany we confirmed the change in import duty with you - giving you the option to proceed or cancel your order. Once you had confirmed you wished to proceed your order was dispatched as soon as Royal Mail resumed operations to the USA a few days later, payment was not taken until the day of shipping. Sorry delivery of your order was not as quick as hoped, this was sadly affected by two separate and unusual factors - unexpected manufacturing delays and a dramatic and sudden change in US import legislation.
