“My original order was piecing the screw converter for my Watermen Expert so I had to buy one at a local shop to actually start using it. I emailed the company about 10 days ago and still don’t have the screw converter I paid for.”

“I live in The Netherlands and had hoped this UK company had sorted out the paperwork beforehand, as so many have managed to do. But oh no! The first update about my order was a message from PostNL to tell me if I still wanted the product, I’d have to pay import duty! Otherwise it’d be sent right back whence it came. I went ahead and paid the unexpected tax and the inks arrived shortly after that. A far from pleasant experience leaving a bitter taste in the mouth. I won’t be ordering again from BBC this company.”

“Both Lamy pens arrived in perfect condition as ordered. I love the fact that I could order which nib width I wanted as I was purchasing them at no extra cost! I always go for the broad nib... as a primary school yeacher, I always find that young writers cope best with them!”
