The company itself sent the product quickly and it arrived in perfect condition. The details on the website and the picture showing the item were all correct and I was pleased with the product.

I ordered a Paperblank diary 2026 that had a cover design I could not find elsewhere and so was pleased to see it was available at the Pen Company. The diary was suitably wrapped to keep it from being damaged whilst in transit and arrived one day after ordering it. This company also has a lovely collection of other stationary goods.

I had an order but could not be sent as it was out of stock which was okay. My order was cancelled without a notification (just realised via refund notification of my bank). I ordered my Kaweco from another company and then see thepencompany got the payment again via my bank account and sent the package. All happened without a notification. I won't use this website again.

Hello Zeynep, Many thank for your feedback. The item you ordered was marked as: ”Stock expected in 7-14 days”. As soon as stock arrived your order was processed and dispatched - no payment was ever taken until this time. Your order was never cancelled (on the rare occasion we may have to cancel a customer order we will always contact them via email and/or phone). As stated on our website, we do not take any payment until items are ready to dispatch - this only happens as an order is being packed for dispatch. When you placed your order your bank issued a pre-authorisation (no payment was debited). The confusion may have arisen as the pre-authorisation entry expired from you bank’s reporting - different banks handle this differently. This can be particularly confusing with the messaging that the bank priories via mobile push notification. In the case of your bank, Monozo, they list this as a refund in the push notification - this is not actually accurate as no payment has been taken at this time. You are very welcome to return your order for a full refund if you wish to - please contact us if you require further instructions on how to go about this. We appreciate this may have caused some confusion, however, we do not have any control over the banks messaging and how they handle deferred payments.

The website is clear and easy to use, with measurements to make sure you choose the size you want (diary). The products are of excellent quality, and always arrive speedily. I have been using The Pen Company for years and will continue to do so!
