“I live in The Netherlands and had hoped this UK company had sorted out the paperwork beforehand, as so many have managed to do. But oh no! The first update about my order was a message from PostNL to tell me if I still wanted the product, I’d have to pay import duty! Otherwise it’d be sent right back whence it came. I went ahead and paid the unexpected tax and the inks arrived shortly after that. A far from pleasant experience leaving a bitter taste in the mouth. I won’t be ordering again from BBC this company.”

“Both Lamy pens arrived in perfect condition as ordered. I love the fact that I could order which nib width I wanted as I was purchasing them at no extra cost! I always go for the broad nib... as a primary school yeacher, I always find that young writers cope best with them!”

“Fantastic service. I ordered two pens as graduation gifts. There was a delay getting them from Germany, but communication was great. Engraving was expedited and shipping was upgraded at no cost to me. Also the pens are awesome.”

“Well, my pen arrived, but about three weeks afterit was supposed to. It took several eMails to get an update on shipping status, but each time I got a reply, so that was nice. As it turns out, I somehow ordered the wrong nib size and, rather than try to return it for the right size and pay the cost of shipping it back to the UK, I just reordered another pen in a different color and the proper sized nib. That was two weeks ago and no update as to when I might expect my pen. I think these appear to be good people who run The Pen Company, but as a small shop they seem to be a bit over their heads when it comes to timely fulfillment of orders.”

“I was looking for a replacement pen pilot for my Cross pens, that would work in damp, cold & hot conditions. The pen company had fisher pilots that work perfectly for what I do in the conditions that I work, so I placed an order & received my order in a timely manner. I Would definitely recommend the pen company for any special things you might be looking for, I'm very happy!”
