“It may seem strange that in these days of computers, emails, WhatsApp messaging and the like, I would want to use a pen and use it with turquoise ink, but I longed for the flourish and the distant memory of the colourful scribbles. Looking on said Intenet I couldn't find Quink but the Pen Company had Pelikan and quickly dispatched it for me. Many thanks.”

“Having dropped my beloved Lamy Safari pen on a concrete floor (again), my heart sank as a new nib was required. Previous purchasing attempts from the usual bazaars - (Brazilian River) & the infamous online auction site had ended in abject failure; fakes/returns, no idea... The "replacement" nibs were definitely not to Lamy's specifications. Period. Trawling through the ubiquitous search engine, I found The Pen Company. Professional, courteous, competitive, timely and in stock! Thanks, simply an amazing online vendor.”

“Pen arrived in padded envelope, however would seem it was too much trouble to place pen in appropriate box. Whoever packed the pen obviously wanted to save time and decided to include the box as is flat packed without one inside.”

Hello Dave, Thank you for your feedback. We supply these box flat packed as we have found they arrive in better conditon doing so. These are supplied flat by the manufacture, and in the past, when we "made these up" prior to dispatch, we found that more often than not they arrived damaged. Either due to other items in the same package moving and squashing the box or due to knocks and bumps in the postal system - these boxes are really quite fragile when made-up. We, therefore, now supply the box flat packed for the customer to make on arrvial and have done so for the last 18 years. I hope this helps explain why we supply the gift box for this model flat.

“The website is clear and user-friendly, helping you to find the product you want. The price has remained stable for several years, only increasing slightly. I still use a paper diary (rather than my phone) and the mini diary means I can keep track of things without the diary being too big and cumbersome. I hope The Pen Company will continue to sell the Paperblanks diary for several years to come.”
