“10 days now and still waiting for my sample pack that I’ve payed postage for,despite e mails to them my customer has now said forget it we will get them from a different source”

“If can not even get your sample. You email them and don’t get a email back. Then you call them and they tell you to email someone else. Still no samples. 👎🏻”

“Very poor communication about delivery. They never reply to emails and after waiting for a delivery to arrive I didn't even get a courtesy call to explain why they didnt get to me! I Wont be using this company in the future.”

“Quick delivery...Funny! Great service...Not at all!! Ordered Panels 21st Oct 2020. Nice and easy online. Phoned them 27th Oct to be told that our panels had just come in as they had to order them in especially for us. Couldn’t tell us when they would be delivered as they hadn’t sorted out their delivery route yet. Phoned 5th November, again told that our panels had just been delivered to them and would be delivered by 10th Nov. 9th Nov, we phoned again as we hadn’t had any communication from them confirming delivery. Got told ( this lady was really very helpful and honest with us ) they only had 4 of the 6 panels we had ordered. We now need to see if we can get the panels from elsewhere delivered this week.”

“Ordered two white gloss panels which arrived promptly but the surface had rough impurities. Substandard quality. Couldnt get a delivery company to return because of size and they wouldnt collect. Would not use again.”

“Items were received in timely manner. Checked that boxes were not damaged which they weren’t. Didn’t open boxes until flooring was about to be laid and found that the at least 7 panels were damaged. Cost a lot of money for something that is of no use. Company were not interested as not reported within 24 hours, would not recommend them as not interested if outwith the 24 hours period - get out clause.”

“sent an enquiry to web orders email address that came in with email confirming order, was looking for information on dispatch/delivery time. Unfortunately i got a reply from johnny who was no help and told me to phone another company, not helpful so told him to cancel order. email back once again telling me to phone somewhere else. maybe panel company should update their emails to go to appropriate person or train their staff to forward an email instead of being so unhelpful. cancelled order which i wouldn't have done if it was not for johnny. im in the trade and had another 6 orders waiting to make but would rather pay extra from a local company. thanks johnny”

“The end cap and internal corners that were supplied were absolutely appalling quality as the chrome coating was peeling off on the edges revealing the white underneath. When I asked to have them returned I was told I was responsible for returning them at my own costs and they would then process a refund. I will not be recommending this company or buying from them ever again”

“We purchased 3 packs of floor panels for £49.99 each. The actual quality of the tiles themselves are excellent and feel really good quality and we were excited to fit them ourselves and save money on installation especially since these are advertised as the "easiest" panels we will ever fit. I asked Harry Cross on messenger how to cut the panels and he said that this is very "easy" and all we need to do is score a line with a knife and break the piece off. Sounds simple, but it was a disaster. This resulted in us ruining 3 panels which ended up having jagged and uneven edges which we could no longer use. I called the company and Johnny who was very harsh and abrupt who said the person who told me to score and cut the panels was "an idiot." Turns out Harry Cross owns the company. Despite the actual owner of the company giving me "idiotic" advice, they still refused to refund the panels. I request Harry give me a call himself so we can discuss this as Johnny was being very unhelpful and rude on the phone. In the end, a carpenter friend managed to salvage the job through using professional cutting tools to cut the panels and fit them properly. So we paid for installation in the end as well as the premium price for the product. We may as well have just done real tiles. Avoid this company for all floor panels.”

“They send the wrong stuff in the first order then assured me they would send the correct materials. A week later still no delivery and then when I called they said they were so busy it was casing mistakes!!!”

“Ordered samples last month, after several communications where excuses were given for the delay I'm still waiting! Return of payment for postage would be appreciated but I wont hold my breath! I wonder how much money they are making from taking money from people and not delivering the items. Perhaps someone needs to look into this at trading standards. I know it's only £1.99 but if they are doing this to hundreds of people it's an easy way to make money. Very dissatisfied customer.”

“Ordered some samples of wall and floor panels of which I had to pay a delivery charge. The samples have never been sent. After calling several times and contacting them via email, I still have not received a response. Its only fortunate I did not order any full panels or anything else from them. Avoid or be left out of pocket!”

“Totally agree with a review left by another dissatisfied customer a month earlier. Ordered and cancelled a delivery of a shower panel on the same day, 2 weeks later it turns up. Not only that, I got a notification that the already cancelled order was going to arrive with me in the next 48 hours to which I spoke to the Panel company directly to ask them not to send it, they replied saying they will arrange pick up once it has been delivered. CRAZY. Now they want me to pay for it's return before they refund. Not a chance. I will forfeit the £80.00 and hope that prospective customers read reviews and make their own minds up.”

“Atrocious service. Original order was (allegedly) lost by courier. After numerous mails I was told a replacement order would be with me on the 7th of May. No sign of items. Eventually I have secured a refund after originally being told a refund would only be paid once boards were delivered and returned. Do not deal with this company. Apalling.”

“Very disappointing from the moment I made my order. Delivery for which I paid an extra £12,50 didn't arrive for 3 weeks. No contact or explanation. Phone calls just switch to engaged after ring twice or just no reply. Emails and website totally ignored. When I did get hold of Harry Cross he promised to deliver and refund my delivery charge. Delivery arrived after i threatened to cancel order 3 weeks late costing me money cancelling the fitting. Was told the problem was mistakes in the warehouse and the rep actually said "not surprising as we have useless staff." Not a great confidence booster or advert for a company. When the panels arrived 3 were damaged. No contact when I complained. All I can say is use the panel company at your peril. Shocking customer service and I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.”

“I ordered panels, trim and adhesive on 6th January 2020. After five phone calls and five different excuses I eventually got a delivery which was not complete so eventually I cut my losses and ordered from another company, Bathroom Cladding Direct. That order arrived complete in 3days. There are many similar stories on here so I recommend that you use another supplier, not The Panel Company. These will take your money but not deliver the goods. I still haven’t received the panels that I ordered.”

“1 star definitely too many. As other reviewers comment. Nice staff on the phone thankfully as it took 5 calls. Then with no notification of delivery, my panels were left at wrong address and damaged. All of this after I had given up hope of receiving them and bought some more from a reputable company. Strongly recommend they look at their delivery system. Strongly recommend you do not use them.”

“Ordered panels two weeks ago. Money taken instantly and confirmation e mail received. Since then...nothing. I phoned them after one week and was told the order would be processed in the next two or three days and I would have it by the end of the week. Nothing since. Phone rings and rings and then they hang up.”
