“Just received my bed, delivery service was very good, 3 hour time slot with tracking and phone call from the delivery team advising when they were close. The bed looks lovely, is very sturdy (needed two people to assemble) and was packaged securely. Very happy with my purchase.”

“Excellent customer service!! I misplaced bolts for a bed during house move and contacted customer service to enquire about replacement parts. They responded to my email immediately and where very helpful, and have provided me with the spare parts I require at no cost.”

“Very good customer service. We had a problem with a bed we bought from them about 8 years ago. Spoke to one of their customer service people who was very helpful and efficient and solved our problem very quickly (and at very good value). Would thoroughly recommend these guys.”

“I found The Original Bedstead Company online when I was searching for a low end metal bed frame. Their website was extremely easy to use and after placing my order I was very pleased to receive an excellent product in a few short weeks. The delivery packing was second to none. The bed was easily and quickly assembled, it looks fantastic, and I can't fault it. Thank you!”

“Great service, the bed arrived quickly and ontime. It was simple to assemble, with easy to understand instructions. My grandmother who stayed with us shortly afterwards said it was the most comfortable bed she'd ever slept in. Thank you”

“The most perfect bed I have ever had. Excellent quality simple and reliable construction easy assembly. And it is also very important that the bed was delivered to Lithuania for an additional fee right up to the door of my country homestead, which other sellers cannot provide. Highly recommend. Buying from Original Bedstead Company is definitely worth it for international buyers as well.”

“Excellent service all around. I ordered a bed in a particular colour but had a change of heart once it arrived. I reached out by email and an exchange was arranged immediately at no additional cost which was greatly appreciated. I'm living in Ireland and the delivery took only a handful of days, arriving even sooner than the estimate listed on the website. The bed itself is beautiful, and considerably sturdier than I expected. Unlike almost every other bed I've encountered, it doesn't wobble or creak, even when forcibly shaken. It is absolutely rock solid. Something that is worth being aware of when choosing a finish is that the beds appear duller pictured on the website than they do in person. By this I mean that they have more of a shine in person. The white and ivory colours in particular appear almost matt on the website, whereas in person even the satin finish has more of a glossy appearance than this. I believe this could be due to the environment in which they were photographed or the lighting conditions. It is subtle but worth considering.”

“Love my upholstered iron bed. It was tricky to find what I was looking for and I was pleasantly surprised by finding the OBC. The under bed storage are perfect without making the bed bulky like ottoman styles. They sent fabric samples to help me make my decision. Placing the order was easy over the phone. After my bed arrived I decided a slightly bigger headboard would suit the bedroom better and I was able to get one ordered. Hopefully I'll love this alteration when it arrives!”

“Having been badly let down by another company that failed to deliver my bed, I found myself bed less in the middle of lockdown! However, I re-started my search and then realised this was serendipity - I fell in love with the beds from The Original Bedstead Company. I phoned through, had a chat and placed an order. All went smoothly, my bedstead and mattress were duly delivered and I am delighted! Set it up too high at first, but easy to lower. Find it much easier to make the bed as higher than a divan, lovely to sleep in - added a topper to the mattress as I do enjoy the softness. The bed looks perfect in my newly decorated room and is completely stable - I love climbing in every night and enjoy a better sleep than I have in years! Nice company - superb beds!”

“I was very impressed with the selection of beds I viewed on line. The bed I chose arrived on the day allocated and my son-in-law had no problem assembling it. The bed is fabulous and really completes my bedroom adding a touch of class. A very well made bed. I would have no trouble in recommending this firm to anyone.”

“We received our Olivia Bedstead last week and are delighted with it. It is exceptionally strong and the colour, Cream, is lovely. After having drawer divans for many years it is great to have space under the bedstead which we are able to keep clean and dust free. We built the bed together in a couple of hours with instructions that were easy to follow, altogether an easy and very rewarding job. There are one or two little creaks on the frame, nothing too worrying and hope that tightening the bolts will sort this out. The slats are extremely well made and do not creak! A very big thank you to The Original Bedstead Company for making us a 6ft wide bedstead with a single bed length. We are very happy to recommend your Company to anyone looking for a very well made and gorgeous bedstead.”

“So, I originally placed a negative review because my order was four weeks late. However, the company has been VERY apologetic, and bent over backwards to get my order to me today as soon as it was ready. They also threw in assembly for me free of charge to make up for the delay. They have been really responsive throughout and did their best to help, and to make amends. The chap who delivered and assembled was really friendly and did a great job, and the bed looks absolutely amazing. I'm very pleased with my order and, actually, despite the delay would definitely recommend them to others (and order again!). Thanks, Original Bed Co.”
