“It was a long time coming, but we finally upgraded from a double to a super king. We like the traditional look of the bedstead but were concerned that the slats would not be as strong as the old base-style that we had before. So far, though, we have had no problems or worries. The bed was pretty straightforward to assemble and looks and feels great.”

“The juno mattress, the best mattress I have had. Firm but extremely comfortable and because of the natural materials,. especially wool, stays lovely and warm through the night. Would definately recommend the company.”

“I love the black iron single bed and also the mattress, both from The Original Bed Company. The bed looks very stylish in the small bedroom and my Grandson slept on it and said it was very comfortable. It was excellent service and excellent delivery.”

“Ordering the bed was easy, delivered on time, delivery people where helpful, the bed was well packed and protected however there was a few scuffs and marks on the bed, informed the bed company who at the time where helpful to a point, instead of sending me a small container of touch up paint they sent me a small amount of white powder for me to purchase paint thinners to mix and repair the bed”

“I have bought two super king sized bed frames now. The frames are incredibly sturdy and they are completely steady, meaning there is no movement or squeaking. The bed frames look really smart and everyone is complimentary when they see the new beds. We’re delighted with the style and workmanship.”

“Beautiful bed that is real quality. Much better than it looks in the photos. It’s very solid, nothing flimsy and very nicely manufactured. The service was quick, just a couple of days and arrived exactly at the start of the time slot. Moderately easy to assemble. I will definitely buy from this company again. Highly recommend”

“In 2018 we bought a small Edwardian styled b&b in Blackpool and needed to replace all the beds. After much searching and comparing online we decided to use the Original Bed Company and we are so pleased that we did, in total we have bought 5 single,4 double and 1 queen size Edwardian bed frames and 1 queen and 1 double juno mattress. Seven years on and the bed frames are as good as they were when we bought them. We opted for black matt frames whick look fantastic in our rooms and are mentioned by our guests regularly. The frames themselves are of exceptional quality, very sturdy with a good weight to them, they can be adjusted in height. The mattresses are again of a very high quality, the detail on them is so lovely it's a shame to cover them, we chose medium firmness and we have had excellent feedback from our guests, we will be buying mattresses for the other beds too in time. The level of service provided by The Original Bed Company was second to none, delivery was quick and profesional. We are so proud of our beds and how they look, they have elevated (literally) the look of our guestrooms and are a constant talking point. They have proved to be great value for money too as i'm sure they will never need replacing.We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for beds.”

“Really happy with our purchase, it looks lovely, is sturdy and comfortable. We bought one under bed storage which is very useful but you must make sure it’s fully pushed in as I have caught my shin on it twice - bruised & bloody 😢. Took two of us about 1.5hrs to assemble.”

“I wanted to replace my old bedstead after 18 years and searched for ages as I needed a new Superking - 6ft - bedstead but after seeing prices of between £2500 - £3500 I came across the Original Bed Company and oh my goodness I absolutely love it. And although the overall length of the frame is smaller than my original one my mattress fits perfectly and snug and has absolutely transformed our mattress like new!! The quality is amazing and the reason for getting it was like my previous one it had two heights and I needed the highest because of my back and most of the other websites only offer one height which was too low. And also the price of the bedstead was excellent at £630!! Thank you OBC for an amazing experience and your service was outstanding too. And I will be highly recommend your company to my friends.”
