“I have 2 beautiful bed steads from this company. A Hamilton bought about 18years ago and a Kendal bought 15 years ago. We have moved house several times and dismantled the beds several more times for decorating. The beds truly are an investment. Standing the test of time. Still beautiful and not a single squeak from either. Cannot fault the after sales service. The company have kindly supplied me with an additional Allen key and spanner when I mislaid mine. When we moved recently we noticed some of the original plastic slat holders had degraded. I contacted the sales team who informed me that the base had been redesigned without the plastic and sent me a replacement upgraded bed base which was for £120 for a double. Beautiful beds impeccable service!”

“Purchased our third iron bed frame from the Original Bed Company (King size Hamilton Solo, Glossy Ivory). This time we also bought a Juno Wool mattress (medium firmness). Best bed and best mattress we've ever had, will be getting the same mattress for the other beds when its time to replace them.”

“Decided to invest a bed frame that I really thought would last a lifetime and I'm not disappointed with my choice from The Original Bed Company. I went for one of their cast iron frames finished in white and topped with brass bed knobs and one their Silk mattresses with firm tension. Had an extra pair of hands for the assembly as would have struggled otherwise but very impressed by the quality of the materials and construction. Comfortable nights have been enjoyed since. Thank you.”

“This is my second iron bedstead from The Original Bed Company. My first purchase was in 1998 and it is still beautiful. Provided that the bed is correctly installed I have not experienced any creaking of either the old or new bed. The 1st bed has been uninstall and reinstall 3 times when I moved with no issues. My second bed came in two boxes very well packed with no damage to it at all. The bed is of superb quality and finish. I would certainly recommend The Original Bed Company. Customer Services were excellent.”

“Very impressed so far! The bed was straightforward to assemble, looks great, and is good quality. Been using it for a few weeks now and really pleased with it. The extra height setting is a bonus and there’s no rattling, squeaking, or movement. It wasn’t the cheapest option when I was looking around, but nowhere near the most expensive either. I wanted quality without breaking the bank, and this has definitely delivered. It’s turned out to be a great buy and I absolutely recommend the Original Bed Company.”

“After a huge amount of research I decided to buy a low end 5ft Hamilton bedframe. My partner and I decided to assemble it ourselves but had to abandon it after 6 hours as some of the holes wouldn't line up. We called the company and spoke to staff in Corby who arranged for 'Dave' to come to our house and complete it. Dave was brilliant and had the it together in no time. The quality of the bedframe is obvious to see, it's extremely sturdy and having a choice of two heights is a great advantage. The customer service was outstanding when we had to contact the company re the assembly. On the back of this I have now decided to buy a second bedframe for the spare bedroom. Clearly, I would definitely recommend this company.”

“Great service-did exactly what they said. Delivered on time as promised. Packaging was exemplary to ensure no damage in transit - it took longer unpacking the parts that putting the beds together. They look terrific. No hesitation recommending this company.”

“Fabulous STRONG BED. I need to move it every day as there are too many spiders to have the single bed against the wall whilst sleeping. My old bed was a problem and was very hard to move but this one just glides over the carpet so easily. Well worth the money. I am still delighted with it months later.”

“We are very pleased with our Original Bed Company bed. It's better quality than I was expecting. It came very well packaged and took around an hour to put together. Be prepared to have a lot of backing to get rid off. We have the bed on the low setting, but it's still much higher than our previous bed, which I like. I contacted Customer Services before the bed was due and they agreed a delivery date with me. We are that happy with the bed we are considering replacing our other bed with one from the OBC.”
