“This is the second bed I have purchased. The first was a single (Olivia) and this time we bought the Edwardian double plus the mattress. It’s absolutely fabulous and has transformed the bedroom. The service and product are both excellent. As I said in my previous review the packaging is excellent too ensuring no damage during delivery. I ordered it by telephone and Nick was extremely helpful.”

“A really great bed. Very good value but not cheap at all. The one thing I was worried about was possible wobble but I think it's the firmest bed we've ever had. Took a bit to put together (2 of us a couple of hours taking our time - half an hour of which was unpacking though!!).”

“This is the 2nd bed I have brought from this company I am only buying another because I am downsizing from a king size to a double. I also purchased a mattress Brilliant very comfortable. The customer service team are really helpful And very friendly. I would highly recommend this company.”

“What stands out most to me is the build quality of the bed. Its superb. It was great to a choice of mattress heights and beds with no base board. I am 6ft6 so its hard to find a great looking bed, that is both great looking and perfect for my height.. The slats on the bed are almost twice the thickness of what I have had previously without any loss in flexibility. For me its a great great product.”

“Love our new bed frame. It's exactly what we wanted. Incredibly sturdy and well made, and looks fantastic. Delivery was fast and assembling it was pretty straightforward (though it's certainly a 2-person job).”

“Bed gets a five and was quickly dispatched but Delivery company poor. It’s a six foot mattress and they didn’t want to take it upstairs as it was “ too heavy.” Other companies deliver to your bed. They did eventually take it to the door of my bedroom.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We’re sorry and unfortunate to hear about your less satisfactory experience with the delivery for the 6ft mattress (not a rolled mattress). We normally dispatch all our order deliveries with two delivery companies according to our customers’ requirements and bookings. And one of the delivery companies – the two-man delivery service should normally take the orders to the upstairs/bedrooms if requested and there is no space restriction in the house. “We are very pleased with this bed , (once we assembled) it looks brilliant in our room . The mattress is Soo comfortable. The delivery Men were on time , and carried all the delivery into the bedroom for me .”

“I waited three months for our bed to arrive, thanks to Covid and it being hand crafted in India! However, it was so worth it because when it arrived my husband and I were delighted at the quality of our beautiful Ballina kingsize in Ivory gloss! This bed is heavy, solid and looks stunning, we are so grateful to find The Original Bedstead Company, it’s far superior to other brands we looked at and I believe a very fair price was paid for our bespoke beauty 🙏 Janie”
