“Ordered a king size Arran bed. It took the full 10 weeks and is a stunning bed. Well worth the wait. A minor issue with one of the bolts not catching its thread, but other than that, with a bit of help was straightforward to assemble. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the delivery. The bed came in a 67kg package, which the couriers struggled to get in the house, and in doing so cracked a number of Victorian hallway tiles. OBC were apologetic and have heard nothing from the courier. Not sure who is at fault here. Silly really packing it all in 1 box and the courier should have been more careful.”

“The mattress is fantastic and we are really pleased with the quality and the price. Easy to order and delivery prompt. My only small complaint is that the delivery men were a bit grumpy and non communicative. They were not happy about taking the mattress upstairs even though I had requested it .”

“I love my bed frame it’s sturdy and what a difference it makes, although it’s the same mattress I had before (as it was fairly new) it is so much more comfortable. My new bed feels luxurious! I’ve had some issues with the drawers, however, the Original Bed Company was quick to help resolve the issues! The bed was fairly straightforward to put together until it came to putting on the chrome tops. I don’t feel this part of the instructions is clear and I feel they should be added before it suggests it as the bed once made is very heavy. If I had not had issues with two drawers I would have given 5 stars.”

“The bed is sturdy and went together as expected. It doesn't squeak at all. I appreciate the design features such as the wood slats and height adjustment options so I don't need to use an additional box springs. We opted for the under bed storage and love that addition as well. The only downside was that it took 11 weeks to arrive--longer than the estimate given at the time my order.”

“Great bed very well made and sturdy. This is our fourth metal bedframe from the Original Bed Company. The packaging was absolutely filthy which made unwrapping the bed frame inside our home very difficult.”

“This is our fourth OBC bed and our previous experience led us to purchase this one for our own use. We are delighted with both the experience of dealing with OBC and the quality. The only reason that I have downgraded to four stars is that what appeared to be rust from the inside, fell on the brand new carpet and left a mark. This is something that needs to be addressed before the bed leaves the factory.”

“Very impressed by the quality of the bed. It was packed extremely well - possibly overpacked. (I've had beds which were lighter than the packing.) The bed was made to order and took time to make. This was 6-weeks, and in line with what was said on the website. The delivery was organised simply and quickly for me. My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have some more information about how things are going - or a way of checking - that the production of the bed is going as planned and that the order came through as is being actioned. But with all of that, it is a very nice bed and I'm very please.”

“This bed is very well made, in my opinion the best on the market, modern but still with nice original style detail. Odering and delivery all went well. The slats were too long, easier to cut than wait for replacements hence only four stars.”

“Love that these are all natural, so no nasty chemicals, and reasonably priced. I ordered the juno wool in medium, unfortunately I found it too firm for my needs, I suffer with fybromyalgia (maybe this would have given a bit over time?) but with the free nights trial I was able to return, which was hassel free and refund sorted quickly. I would have loved a "soft" option to try”

“It’s all efficient and well run. The bed arrives extremely well protected and is beautiful . I had an issue putting together that the double headed screw for a brass knob would not thread but I had been without a bed for a week and was desperate and it took me two hours to carefully thread and unthread til I got it in just enough to work”

“I would have given 5 as the bed frame and mattress are really good....but the delivery let it down, the packaging was filthy and left lots of dirty marks on my walls carpets and up the stairs and all over us too when unpacking.....”

“Ordering: Very easy. Online. Communication : Terse. Either was here. Or wasn't. Which was/is fair enough I suppose. Product: Looks beautiful. Quality. Sturdy. Very impressed. Packaging: Sorry to be retentive about this but never encountered as well thought out protective solution to a product. Incredible. Delivery: Did pay extra for chosen room delivery but the sheer weight meant that it had to be separated into parts and took upstairs...which was done very adeptly...by myself...as advised by delivery team who shot off after imparting this piece of logistical advice. 🤷‍♂️”

“Whilst the bed and mattress themselves are great and as ordered, the customer service was appalling. I phoned to asked when my order was likely to be delivered, as I had already waited 8 weeks, wondering why they had not emailed me ANY updates. I was told that some customers don’t like to be contacted by email!! Why take contact details then?? The man on the phone took some time to find my order. This suggests a level of inefficiency which is stunning. The bed was fairly easy to construct, but we did have some difficulties .”

“After being a bit sceptical due to not seeing the bed in person, not knowing the company and wondering why the price was so low on comparison to some competitors, I bit the bullet and ordered this bed. Needless to say we are super happy with the bed, the style is lovely and it was not hard to put together. The only reason I have subtracted one star is because it creaks quite a bit and it started shortly after getting it and assembling it. All in all comfy bed, quick delivery and good service we are really happy with it”
