“I bought this bed for my son as a forever bed that could last from now (age 6) and well into the future. I wanted something classic and well made and I wasn’t disappointed. This is such a gorgeous bed, incredibly sturdy, beautiful, and will last him years. I can’t wait to buy my younger son one to match!”

“I have two OBC beds. One from 2020 which is still flawless showing minimal wear and tear and another delivered recently. Both times the beds are well wrapped and arrived without any damage. Great value for money. Would recommend”

“Iron Edwardian Double Bed. After a bit of a hiccup with the delivery date. Our Edwardian iron bed arrived on a Saturday in two parcels. Both were heavy. They were packed very very well, including lots of soft fibre padding to stop any damage during transit. Once placed in the bedroom I could see the parts were sturdy and of good quality. It was fairly straight forward to assemble, but I did need a second person a couple of times. Once we had decided what height we wanted the bed, it all went together very well. But read the instructions!! We used our existing mattress which fitted fine and we had our first nights sleep on it that night. So far it’s been very comfortable to sleep on. No squeaks at all. It looks very good in our Victorian cottage, even though it’s Edwardian !!!! 😄 ps if for any reason you might want to return it you won’t be able to use the original packaging as it was very tightly packaged you’ll bin it. But based on its performance so far, you won’t want to !”

“My Wife and I visited the shop in Kings Road London in January or late in December and saw a number of beds which were particularly reasonably priced compared to the competition. We particularly were attracted to the metal frame beds of which we chose the 5' "iron" Hamilton bed in satin black with brass "bits" and a high frame end. It is so comfortable compared to out old bed and very well made and easy to put together but you will need a mate to help.”

“Thank you for making the most amazingly comfortable bed frame. The quality speaks for itself in the ease of assembly and solid construction. I've never received any furniture so well packaged to keep it safe during delivery, and the delivery guys were so careful with the handling. My only regret is that this bedframe will obviously last a long, long time and I will not have a reason to buy another any time soon.”

“Absolutely love our new bed, pictures don’t do it justice! Lovely delivery guys who were in and out in minutes. We were impressed with the extremely good packaging to protect the enamel coated bed frame. The only part that we found tricky was the brass work which is definitely a 2 person job! We got there in the end though and it looks great 😀”

“I ordered a bed frame and it was way beyond my exspectations when it arrived. A beautiful bed stunningly crafted from strong metal and brass,I could actually feel the quality. This bed company is probably one of the best I have found after looking months for a new bed. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would definately recommend original bed co.”

“I adore my new bed. It’s pretty, girly, and exceptionally good quality. It’s not hard to put together either. It advises 2-person assembly but, I managed it alone (girl power)! My fat Teddy-cat loves it too.”

“Bed is lovely just a couple of issues but nothing major there was a very small scratch on the bottom of the frame and one of the screws when securing the slates at the base would not go in, fortunately managed to get it secure”

“Dream bed… And experience. Some may wish more emails and updates, however; we were happy with the excitement of “oh when will the bed be ready?”… “oh it’s due in a week or so!”. We chose brass frame and a wool mattress… both are wonderful in quality, comfort and design etc. I honestly have no idea why anyone would go to the mainstream brands found on retail parks. I feel we got tremendous quality and value with The Original Bed Company.”
