“The online descriptions are very accurate of the bed and mattress, which are just perfect, both sturdily made. The bed replaces an original Victorian one I lent out years ago and sadly never got back, but it is a lovely replacement, easy to put together and very sturdy. The mattress is properly made and very comfortable. Don't be fooled by cheap offers, this is a real mattress at a very good price.”

“I have ordered a bed frame and mattress from the Original Bed Company. I was happy with the bed frame but wished to exchange the mattress for another one. The exchange was arranged quickly and without any problems. However, since then I have contacted the customer service several times by email to process the refund of the difference in price (the second mattress was cheaper) and I have not heard back yet about my refund (during the sale process the reply to my email was prompt). This has certainly spoiled my experience with the company”

“Product quality excellent, service not so. I had one query overy my delivery, made a call. Whoever dealt me was dismissive and patronising, had all the customer skills of an angry wasp. Great product by the way, just don't expect good service if you have a problem.”

“Two single Beds and mattresses delivered on time We did have a slight fault with one bed slat. When I telephoned to discuss they were quick to act and send out a replacement. Beds look great and mattresses are super comfy We will definitely order the King size version too as the new beds show up our other old divans !”

“This is our third bed from The Original Bed Company, and we were as delighted by it as we were with the previous two. Our only disappointment was that it had to be bought in something of a hurry and sadly we could not have one with brass trimmings as that would have taken too long.”

“Absolutely brilliant customer service. When I needed a spare part for a fourteen year old metal bad frame that had become fatigued, they identified the part required from photos that I sent and supplied a replacement part free of charge, even though it was an old design that was no longer produced.”

“The Original Bed Company is local to us, so we visited their showroom to look for a new mattress. We were pleased to hear the mattresses are made at the factory and that they offer a 100 night guarantee, which is reassuring. We ordered ours on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered the following Tuesday. Excellent service and quality product.”
