“Fantastic bed, looks amazing and so solid, had to wait six weeks for the colour 'Pewter' but it was well worth it. Good delivery team and fairly easy to assemble. Great bed and great company, would recommend to everyone. Thanks”

“I absolutely love my bed. It's really great blend between vintage style and modern design. The delivery was on time, it was easy to put together at home and it's really sturdy (no rickety-ness!). I love the two height settings from the floor, I have it on the highest and can easily fit a large suitcase underneath.”

“J'ai commandé un lit sur ce site. J'ai choisi la date de livraison et il est arrivé dans le délai fixé à la commande. J'en suis très satisfaite : il est de bonne qualité et il est moins cher qu'un lit ressemblant que j'aurais pu acheter en France, frais d'expédition compris. Seul bémol : il faut savoir parler anglais pour obtenir des informations auprès du service client.”

“Excellent quality bed and bath exceptionally well packaged, took an hour just to get it all out of the box it was so well packaged. Only thing which knocked it down from 5 star was it took a very long time for delivery.”

“This is the third bed we've purchased from The Original Bedstead Company as they are great value and have a wide choice of designs. Great customer service and very pleased with this bed, although it does creak a bit which is a problem we haven't had with the previous beds....maybe we need to tighten the bolts?? Bed looks great and was easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend.”

Hi Paula, As with your other two beds, there should be no creaking at all. Please do tighten all bolts fully and this should resolve the issue. Please do let us know if it does not. Best wishes, The Original Bed Company

“We have had an Edwardian frame for 2 years and it as been great... We wanted a small double for the spare room....so we chose the Original Bedstead company again...I find the assembly instructions good and the bed frame went together perfectly... I would have given five stars.. but as with the first bed...it never arrived on the day that we had chosen for delivery...”

“Have had my metal slatted bedstead for 10 years at the end of this month. It has to be the best bed we have owned. Noticed a few slat caps have cracked, got in touch with them and they are sending some free to me as replacements. The customer Service is 2nd to none. I can think of another who be so brilliant after 10 years. Highly recommended and will buy from them again in the future. Extremely pleased.”

“The bed looks attractive and is comfortable. It was fairly straightforward to assemble. However I was disappointed by how much noise it made for such an expensive bed. The company advised me that I needed to put electrical tape around the inner top of the leg extension to stop the noise. This has got rid of the noise but I’m not sure how long it will last. It feels like I’ve had to use a botched solution when surely this component should have been coated with something to prevent the noise occurring. For the high price paid I was disappointed.”

“Great service from David the bed fitter/courier from the Original Bedstead Company. He couldn't have been more helpful and polite and did a perfect job in delivering and fitting a bed. Also took away all rubbish and even our old bed frame! Can't recommend this company enough based on David's customer service. The other staff from the Corby branch were OK.”

“I ordered this bed back in October. I had to wait 8 weeks for delivery due to the unserved drawers not being in stock. However, not an issue as the Bed Company kept me informed of the progress of my order. Bit disappointed with the delivery company as they did not deliver on the day they were supposed to as they lost one of the parts! They also failed to tell me so I waited in all afternoon for the delivery which did not arrive! Trying to contact Arrowxl delivery company was not easy so I contacted the bed company who chased them up and rearranged delivery. The Original Bed Company were excellent can’t fault them sorted the problem after one phone call. Can’t wait to put the bed together.”

“This is the second Original Bedstead Company bed I have bought. I’m so happy with mine that I bought the Edwardian in King size for the spare room. I put it up easily by myself, got the Juno Original to go with it, which is lovely and comfortable, although I have the Juno One on my bed, which is the best mattress I have ever slept on, and worth every penny. Delivery within a 2 hour slot. Delighted and definitely recommend.”

“A beautiful bedframe, finished to a high standard and made in the UK! This was ordered from stock and delivered within the week. Easy to assemble (needs two sets of hands) with tools supplied and a choice of two frames heights. Really sturdy without having center supports. Very happy with the purchase.”

“I adore my beautiful Ballina bed. It is extremely well made with a superb finish, silent as promised and wonderfully comfortable. Delivery was no problem as ArrowXL have route tracking so you can see then they are due to arrive. I would thoroughly recommend this company.”
