“My daughters new bed looks fantastic. We wanted a traditional bed to compliment her contemporary theme elsewhere and it works. Great personal service from The Original Bedstead Company. Dreams do come true!”

“The bed looks and feels good. However the instructions for the Sunderland pleated are poor and caused hours of frustration compared to the iron bedstead I bought previously”

“Nothing flimsy here! Well made, very sturdy, easy to assemble. Delivery within a week, fantastic delivery communications. Great choice of bed frames, we have a low beamed house, small stairwells to consider as well as low sloping roof in the bedroom. So low bed head was important, as well as a fully dismantled bed to negotiate stairs. SO GOOD, GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER!”

“After visiting your shop in Corby to view various frames and discussing various points with you, we chose the Selkirk super king in black and brass, and we are extremely pleased with the quality and the look of the bed frame. Your guy in Corby was very helpful, and courteous and we ordered there and then. It was indicated that there could be a 5 - 8 week ordering period, which we were ok with, however, the frame was made available after only 2 weeks. Choosing a suitable day for delivery was quick and easy and they kept us updated and was good enough to take the frame upstairs. The fixing of the bed frame was fairly straight forward and simply. Overall we would highly recommend the Original Bedstead Company”

“Waiting time on my order was 4 weeks which I did feel was quite lengthy, but once it arrived I was not disappointed. The quality of the bed was much better than I anticipated for the price, it is solid and well made right down to the fittings. I would definitely buy from this company again.”

“Beautiful-looking bed which was relatively easy to assemble apart from the chrome headed long bolt which secured the decorative brass horizontal bar at its upper end from the underside. Engaging the thread proved tricky. Very sturdy and rigid. Good value.”

“Bought the Edwardian in cream gloss. Very sturdy bed, like the choice of heights. Very pleased, actually saved on delivery as we live close by. So we collected. Well packed but one foot had been rubbed and had a chip, however they sent a replacement by first class post and it was received the next day. Brilliant service, highly recommend.”

“I bought an Ashley iron bed, I think the build quality is excellent because you can build the bed from the inside. Therefore if you have a small room with space only for the bed where you can't put screws in from the outside of the frame it is still easy to assemble.”

“The bed was easy enough for me to assemble by myself. It took 1 1/2 hrs with a break. The bed is solid and well made. Much better quality than the cheaper double bed I previously had. With the super king we have a much better sleep. Great company 😁 website is easy to use and delivery was no problem either.”
