“We purchased the Juno silk mattress. It is early days to comment on how durable it is however it seems very well made. It is harder than we expected but over the 2 months we've been sleeping on it we've found it to be good, we don't feel each other moving about which I love. The delivery went well, we had it delivered to our room of choice and the couriers arrived on time and kept us informed prior to delivery. All in all happy customers.”

“Once I had decided that my 25-year-old bed and mattress were life-expired, I spent a very long time trying to find the perfect replacement. I had a list of things that I DIDNT' want (upholstered base, divan, etc.) but I had more or less decided on an iron bed. I was on the brink of spending almost TWICE as much when I stumbled on The Original Bed Company ... and my... am I glad!! I did a double-take when I saw all those lovely iron beds with low foot ends. That was exactly what I had been searching for. (It's quite a small room and a high foot end would have been overpowering.) I spent ages reading all the reviews and I have to say that every single positive comment rings true. I now have the perfect bed, a super comfortable mattress and a better and nicer bed than I so nearly bought. The whole thing is very well made. I was a little nervous about the matterss - a lot of money to pay without trying it - but have faith! It's going to last years. It's true what everyone says ... this bed does NOT creak!!! it's just fabulous. I deliberated for a while over which design and which colour to go for, and poor Jamyang (who has the patience of a saint) put together several suggestions for me. In the end I went for an ex-stock bed and I am soooo delighted with it. I would recomment this company to anyone and everyone. Your bed will not creak!!”

“Great service and quick delivery, would buy again but this bed seems like it’s gonna last a long time! Absolutely in love and affordable with the multiple instalments. I would say don’t give up on metal beds because they last long and look so gorgeous ! Even in my little room it adds character! Only thing I would add is be careful lifting it up and have a second person to help you build it! They put loads of padding and make sure that it’s tucked well in the box! Only negative was that one of the headboards had a really rusted stopper in it. So had to pry it out breaking my nail.”

“We purchased our bed frame over 20 years ago & I have dealt with the company a couple of times since, for a spare screw we lost in a move (sent to us FOC) & recently for replacement brass fittings that had tarnished due to us hanging clothes on them. Even though they don't make this bed anymore they were still able to send replacements for a reasonable price. Hopefully our bed frame will last for another 20+ years now. Excellent company to deal with.”

“Ordered and received a bed which arrived in damaged and dirty packaging. It looked like it had been lying around in a warehouse for years. The bed inside was scratched, damaged and stained and we had to buy a solvent to clean off the many stains on the metal pieces. The instructions were photocopied too dark and were barely readable. We eventually managed to assemble the bed ourselves using our own skills. The company promised me a 10% refund because of the issues raised. To this day and after almost 2 months, there has been no refund even though I have chased it twice. Appalling experience!”
