“Hubby & I like our own bed space so we're looking for 2 small double mattresses for our new loft conversion. After trawling around countless bed shops and on-line companies and reading loads of reviews I came across The Original Bed Company, their factory was only an hour away from where we lived so we decided to go and take a look at them. We were immediately impressed by the mattresses, we both like a firm mattress and the one we tried fitted the bill (they also come in medium firm). We opted for the Juno Wool mattresses and ordered them over the phone. Delivery was a prompt 9 days later even though we had been told it may be a little later due to Christmas deliveries. The company who delivered the mattresses (BJS) cheerfully took them 2 stories up to our loft room with no quibble, which was no mean feat as they would have been too heavy and bulky for us to move them. We have slept on the new Juno Wool mattresses for over a month now and can honestly say they are the best mattresses we have had, I suffer with hip/back problems but have had no aches and pains since sleeping on them. Yes, they did have a slight 'wool' smell at first but that soon dissipated. I thoroughly recommend this company and are very happy with our purchase, we would;d definitely buy from them again.”

“Outstanding company and quality bed / mattress. Arrived well packaged and very easy to assemble. Looks fantastic. Very comfortable mattress and a testimony to the standards and high quality materials , not forgetting the skilled workmanship in making. Having spent 3 x as much previously, I would definitely purchase from The Original Bed Company again. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent customer service. Changed my mind with regards the original bed I ordered, order cancelled and refunded without issue. Reordered a different bedframe, it was delivered very well packaged, easy to assemble. Very pleased with my bedframe and would highly recommend”

“I had a fantastic experience with this bed company. I went to their lovely showroom before purchasing where they had the exact model I was interested in, and had a detailed, helpful chat with the sales agent. The showroom was gorgeous and really inspiring! Ordering and delivery experience was really easy, and the bed is fantastic - easy to assemble and still looks perfect. I’d highly recommend!”

“This is our second OBC bed . The first is so fabulous and all our guests rave about it. This time we went for a super king and it’s just as good (huge improvement from another brand frame) we’ve used the same mattress. Easy to erect just need two people - one to hold and one to turn alum key etc”

“The bed took a bit longer to be delivered than l had anticipated. But once it arrived in the country, it was delivered Immediately by friendly, efficient couriers. Really pleased with the bed. Easy to assemble, good quality frame and excellent mattress.”

“We bought the Juno Cashmere mattress. Service and delivery were outstanding. So far, sleep and back problems have also improved. However, we have two issues: even after two months and daily airing, the mattress still smells strongly (sheep wool smell). Secondly, there are no handles on the top and bottom of the mattress making it really difficult to turn.”

“Perfect. The website description and pictures reflected style and colour of the bed frame correctly. Delivery was as arranged. The bed frame was packed with appropriate materials to keep it safe in transit. Building the frame was straightforward and easy. It’s clearly been designed well and with a long life expectancy. Now we’ve had the bed up and in use for a few weeks, we can confirm it is robust, well finished and will last us many years. Brilliant!”

“It’s all efficient and well run. The bed arrives extremely well protected and is beautiful . I had an issue putting together that the double headed screw for a brass knob would not thread but I had been without a bed for a week and was desperate and it took me two hours to carefully thread and unthread til I got it in just enough to work”
