“The bed I ordered arrived promptly and was very easy to set up. Overall, the bed looks elegant, modern and fits in perfectly to my bedroom! The bed is really cosy and comfy too!”

“Love that these are all natural, so no nasty chemicals, and reasonably priced. I ordered the juno wool in medium, unfortunately I found it too firm for my needs, I suffer with fybromyalgia (maybe this would have given a bit over time?) but with the free nights trial I was able to return, which was hassel free and refund sorted quickly. I would have loved a "soft" option to try”

“Perfection personified from initial call to delivery. Took their recommendation on the matress and paired it with the cream Edwardian cream bedstead. It looks fabulous with my Sanderson bedding and curtains. Buy cheap buy twice. This qualty bed and matress is worth every penny for the years of comfort to come.”

“Fantastic experience from ordering and paying for the bed , couldn’t order online as I needed to have the bed erecting after delivery . The gentleman I spoke to was very efficient and took the order and payment over the phone . The bed and the mattress are superb and more than I could have hoped for I love it . It hasn’t been used yet as it’s in the guest bedroom but it looks beautiful .”

“They were very helpful in sourcing some replacement parts for my Selkirk bed which had been damaged in storage.Our bed was an older model and they ensured that I ordered the correct part. Our bed now looks great again and we are really happy.”

“This is my third bed and mattress so I was a fan of the company and the products. I still love the bed and mattress. But delivery and customer service was very poor. It said 8-10 weeks but was outside that window by 11 days. When I phoned to query it there was no explanation or apology, just an abrupt statement from the person at OBC. I was promised a slot after 1 pm as no one could accept delivery before then. It came at 11.30. Delivery company and OBC did not appear to communicate with each other. Delivery company seem to be based overseas.”

Hi, I do apologise for the delay. This is of course not the service we expect. We do sincerely apologise for the delay of course. We were a bit late in dispatching the product (by about 2-3 days) but also the delivery company should have delivered by now. We do of course communicate with the delivery company and please do leave it with me while I chase this with the company. Once again, apologies and I hope to have a resolution as soon as possible.

“I am so happy with my bed from The Original Bed Company, it looks even better in reality than it did on the website. I chose the Hamilton Bed. It was very easy to assemble and it arrived very fast. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a new bed that is supposed to be special and that is so high-quality and beautiful that you want to keep it forever”

“We had wanted an iron bed for a long time and the designs at OBC matched exactly what we had envisaged. We also needed a new mattress so getting the frame and mattress at the same time was a good deal. The range of mattresses provided plenty of choice. Choosing the bed was easy on the website and the delivery was really smooth and efficient. My husband and I assembled the bed very easily and we have been very happy with both the look and comfort of our bed.”

“Was concerned as bought online and had'nt seen bed but did'nt need to be. Kept informed at every step, very pleased with purchase, struggled at beginning to follow instructions to put bed together but got there in the end. Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep, would recommend”

“Came across this company whilst browsing, so glad we did! Purchased a single bed (pewter) & the Juno cotton mattress for our guest room last year. Delivery company kept us updated en-route with both items being delivered and packaged perfectly. Mattress is so comfortable whilst bed itself is very heavy and sturdy, looks great in the room . So satisfied, that we went on to order the same mattress (double) for another room and will certainly order from here again when the need arises (maybe the Hamilton bed next time!).”
