“Excellent quality. Really pleased with the extra storage boxes I ordered too. Well packed, arrived as quoted and delivery drivers good communication. Overall would definitely recommend and would buy again from this company.”

“Very happy with my new bed, looks great, feels very solid and the mattress is really comfortable. I spent ages looking for a bed and frame made with natural fibres and this fulfilled that requirement for a reasonable price. Also no more backache!”

“This is our fourth OBC bed and our previous experience led us to purchase this one for our own use. We are delighted with both the experience of dealing with OBC and the quality. The only reason that I have downgraded to four stars is that what appeared to be rust from the inside, fell on the brand new carpet and left a mark. This is something that needs to be addressed before the bed leaves the factory.”

“Every time I have needed to approach this company for help, or whatever, they have been excellent. They replaced broken parts free of charge (albeit small parts) even when well out of warranty and when these parts were not available anymore (my bed is 20+ years old and still going strong), I had to buy a replacement base. The cost was less than I would have thought and the service and delivery were perfect. I can't praise this company enough and will definitely buy from them again when I have to replace.”

“Corby showroom were excellent, gave me very good advice. I am very pleased with the bedstead and would highly recommend the company. Delivery speedy and very well wrapped, From my first phone called to Corby showroom to the delivery men, all the service was exceptional. Thank you The Original Bed Company.”

“Always wanted an OBC bed for years finally was able to purchase one absolutely delighted with my bed frame and the super service provided, Ordered my bed and it arrived exactly on time no hanging around given a time slot it was delivered in the slot”

“A beautiful looking bed. We found building it quite challenging and couldn’t get the head and foot ends completely connected with the vertical long screws. Therefore it is a bit squeaky! We bought the most expensive mattress/ medium softness but it is really very firm and smells of chemicals.”

“The quality of this iron bed is not as good as one I bought from OBC about five years ago. It seems much lighter and of inferior quality. It also took much longer to assemble as the instructions were extremely difficult to follow. The print was small and the diagrams hard to decipher. However I cannot fault OBC for their excellent customer service. I needed to change the delivery date twice and this was done for me without any problems.”

“We purchased 2 beds from the Original Bed Company and have been thoroughly impressed with both of them. The quality speaks for itself and definitely proves for great value for money as we are 100% convinced these beds will last many many years. The only area of improvement could be the instructions as they weren’t that clear for installing the brass kit. But my Wife and I managed to decipher and install quickly once we had figured them out. If we need a 3rd bed we will be back to purchased from the Original Bed Company. Thank you”

“Very impressed by the quality of the bed. It was packed extremely well - possibly overpacked. (I've had beds which were lighter than the packing.) The bed was made to order and took time to make. This was 6-weeks, and in line with what was said on the website. The delivery was organised simply and quickly for me. My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have some more information about how things are going - or a way of checking - that the production of the bed is going as planned and that the order came through as is being actioned. But with all of that, it is a very nice bed and I'm very please.”

“The bed frame from The Original Bed Comany is of exceptional quality and looks beautiful in my bedroom. The frame arrived in 2 flat parcels, with all pieces well wrapped with easy to follow assemby instructions. When put togehter, the frame is supper steady and looks like it will last. Metal frame in back is in beautiful mat finish. It took a while to get it after it was ordered (5 weeks), but it was worth to wait. I simply love this bed.”

“Honestly love my bed. Ordered a metal frame bed in black. Came very well packaged. The bed is excellent quality. Very pretty. Easy to put together. Delivered on time. Looks lovely in my bedroom. I have a small room and it doesn't overwhelm the room (king size). Would definitely recommend.”
