“I must remember to check multiple review platforms before I use a new website Ordered a bed on 26th December, quoted 9-11 weeks delivery. 11 weeks are up on 13th March. Called to find out where the bed was after being told it would be with them on March 10th. Now supposed to be delivered to them next week, all the person I spoke to insisted on is that it was within the 11 weeks- clearly can't count, just wound me up to the point of me losing my temper, then they hung up. Upon reading a lot of reviews, I am certainly not the first person who has commented on the poor attitude. I am not surprised I got angry, nor am I the first. How hard is it to supply what was ordered on time, and communicate if it is going to be late- not difficult! Thankfully a credit card purchase, so if it fails to appear, I can claim my money back.”

Hi Nick, I do apologise for the frustration and the miscommunication. We do aim to get everything out on time and to customers as soon as possible. I must apologise for the issues and for the delay. Of coures, you are completely correct that the 11 weeks would be up on 13th March. I have checked on the system and it says that your product has indeed already been dispatched. It has already left us and you should get a message from our couriers to confirm a delivery date. I apologise once again for the issues and I hope your bed reaches you in the next few days. “Love our new single beds, they are lovely and high so really easy to get in and out. Very solid frame and pretty easy to assemble. Especially like the look with the ‘brass’ bed knobs 🤗🤗”

“Bought a wool & cotton Superking mattress. Best decision ever. Lovely and firm. Nice blue ticking fabric and ALL natural. Exceptionally comfortable and temperature regulating. There is a smell - the wool I’m assuming as it smells like a really fabulous pure wool sweater. The smell fades gradually & it’s not unpleasant. It’s a great mattress at a super competitive price. All in all we are VERY happy with our purchase. 🤩”

“Outstanding beds. This is the second time we bought an iron bed. Classy, great quality, very solid. This time we also bought a mattress. Again, great quality, attention to detail, great sleep. Very happy with the purchase. Customer service helped with a delivery issue (the delivery company made a mistake). Very good customer service.”

“This is my second bed from this company. Ordering and delivery to an upstairs bedroom very easy. The excellent packaging took sometime to remove. I did need help to put the frame together and put in storage drawers. They offer a lot of space and better than wooden ones as in rails and flexible. Really pleased with the result. The medium mattress works well.”

“Excellent quality bed and arrived well packaged in sustainable materials. Fourth bed purchased from OBC and all are still being used. The latest is to replace a timber single bed for our youngest child who now has the same double bed frame as his older brother.”

“I bought this bed for my son as a forever bed that could last from now (age 6) and well into the future. I wanted something classic and well made and I wasn’t disappointed. This is such a gorgeous bed, incredibly sturdy, beautiful, and will last him years. I can’t wait to buy my younger son one to match!”

“I have two OBC beds. One from 2020 which is still flawless showing minimal wear and tear and another delivered recently. Both times the beds are well wrapped and arrived without any damage. Great value for money. Would recommend”

“Iron Edwardian Double Bed. After a bit of a hiccup with the delivery date. Our Edwardian iron bed arrived on a Saturday in two parcels. Both were heavy. They were packed very very well, including lots of soft fibre padding to stop any damage during transit. Once placed in the bedroom I could see the parts were sturdy and of good quality. It was fairly straight forward to assemble, but I did need a second person a couple of times. Once we had decided what height we wanted the bed, it all went together very well. But read the instructions!! We used our existing mattress which fitted fine and we had our first nights sleep on it that night. So far it’s been very comfortable to sleep on. No squeaks at all. It looks very good in our Victorian cottage, even though it’s Edwardian !!!! 😄 ps if for any reason you might want to return it you won’t be able to use the original packaging as it was very tightly packaged you’ll bin it. But based on its performance so far, you won’t want to !”

“My Wife and I visited the shop in Kings Road London in January or late in December and saw a number of beds which were particularly reasonably priced compared to the competition. We particularly were attracted to the metal frame beds of which we chose the 5' "iron" Hamilton bed in satin black with brass "bits" and a high frame end. It is so comfortable compared to out old bed and very well made and easy to put together but you will need a mate to help.”

“Thank you for making the most amazingly comfortable bed frame. The quality speaks for itself in the ease of assembly and solid construction. I've never received any furniture so well packaged to keep it safe during delivery, and the delivery guys were so careful with the handling. My only regret is that this bedframe will obviously last a long, long time and I will not have a reason to buy another any time soon.”

“Absolutely love our new bed, pictures don’t do it justice! Lovely delivery guys who were in and out in minutes. We were impressed with the extremely good packaging to protect the enamel coated bed frame. The only part that we found tricky was the brass work which is definitely a 2 person job! We got there in the end though and it looks great 😀”
