“Timber is fine and very packaged. However delivery not so good, Used a company that delivered the wood on a vehicle that was not fit for purpose in that the tail lift did not work properly and required me to provide a device to hold the lift safety button in place. Not good practice. Took some time time to resolve in the rain! Driver was a great guy and not happy with situation”

“The oak is good, I have had many loads over the last few years but this year there were many smaller pieces than usual which obviously burn quite more quickly.”

“Ordering went well but intervention of an English bank holiday not taken in Scotland meant delivery took just a little longer than advertised. Off loading went well and timber stacked well. The stove seems to like the oak supplied and we like the heat.”

“Had my delivery last week every thing fine. When I stacked the logs in my garage they were fine but I did find that some were longer than others by 2". They just about go in the fire but almost touch the glass. Regards R Dack”

“Everything is good does what it promises but on delivery it would be good to be able to drop at required position ( due to gravel drive) instead of on kerb side in my humble opinion.”

“I've always been pleased with the quality of the logs however I think the communication with customers could be improved as I've always had to ring them to find out when the delivery was going to take place. A pre emptive call from the sales team to say when it would be delivered would be good and I'd likely give them 5 stars then. Also the full crates can be very ungainly and the delivery drivers do have difficulties offloading them on their tail lifts. The half crates are much better and more stable in this respect.”

“Delivery arrived at the agreed time and wood was well packaged in a sturdy wooden crate. It would have been nice to see a re cycling facility for the wood pallet, perhaps a discount if it’s returned next time we order. Wood wasn’t as clean and regular looking as it had appeared in the sales pics, so when stacked by the fire, didn’t look as good as I’d expected.”

“Quality of wood supplied is generally good and well protected. Cheerful and helpful delivery driver this time, which hasn't always been the case. 4 stars only because of significant space at the top of the crate left empty albeit that settlement in transit may account for some of this. Having to wait in all day was annoying. Delivery contractor said driver would ring half an hour before arrival but they didn't. On the whole good but could improve on the above factors”

“The wood is good quality and dry. The price is high and we would only purchase during the cheap deal offer periods, otherwise £240 upwards is too much for a pallet of ash. The big letdown is the lack of any time window by the delivery company. We have to wait in from 0900 to 1700 and will think twice about that aspect for future orders. A two-hour window would be fine, but not eight hours.”

“Overall quite pleased with these. Moisture content was low as advertised. Some logs rather large but manageable. fair value. Ordered Ash and load was NOT 100% ash. Palletise well and good delivery. driver phoned to check if we were in.”
